Don't forget, he was born in L.A., his father played for the Lakers, he grew up a big Lakers fan and a Shaq fan too.
Meh I dont think the Lakers would want him. He's not the right type of star for that team. Wilt, West, Kareem, Magic, Shaq, Kobe.. Love? Yeah right. That's why the Lakers decided to let Dwight walk. The star in LA needs to be a winner IMO.
Not this again

What's crazy is that if all those guys were in their primes, thats not a bad team at all......They don't have a true Center but they have plenty of scoring and rebounding. They dont' have any defense other than Kobe though....Young is a good 6th man off the bench....

They were begging him to stay but he decided to walk.

Kevin Love's lifelong goal is to be a star on the Lakers. This would be the best option for him.
Love plus a year of pro-training Randle plus Kobe coming off the books the following year for a max or two near-max players? Please.
lol
I'm pretty sure Love would leave max money on the table, teammates like Lebron and Irving, the weak east to go play with Randle + some for now unnamed free agents who may or may not sign and leave their teams and sign with the Lakers. All that after making the playoffs for the first time in his career.
Sure buddy, sure. Sounds super reasonable.

1) Play for lifelong favorite team near friends and family with no expectations.
2) Play in ****ing Cleveland with a diva and be blamed for every loss by said diva's fans.
Let's just say, we'll see what happens.

Why would there be no expectations? I thought it was "championship or bust" every year with the Lakers?
He grew up in Oregon he lived in LA for one year when he was at UCLA
Slayed.
His high school team is the lake Oswego lakers.
Ha.
