Benghazi embassy overrun by al Qaeda, weapons stolen, used to expand influence in the Maghreb and Sahel.
Al Qaeda is the only serious anti-Assad fighting force in Syria.
Several Army SF trainers on record complaining about CIA sending them jihadists to train; many refused to train jihadists at all, or gave them shit training and sent them to die.
With the help of Turkey, Israel, & Qatar, Assad is near collapse.
All remaining Christians, Druze, and other minorities in Syria are living under Assad's protection.

Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation respond to a lawful request from the legitimate government of Syria to help prevent collapse and genocide in a UN-member state.
CIA demands the DoD ally with al Qaeda to fight Russia, Iran, and Assad.
DoD says **** that, we're just going to sit up in the northeast with the Kurds and help them kill ISIS.
In 2016, Hillary promises she will use the military to destroy Assad's Syria; Trump says we will get out of Syria.
Trump wins, is inaugurated in Jan 2020, ends Operation Timber Sycamore within months.
CIA at war with Trump from then until now.
