Walt Frazier
Stockton over Drexler? hmmmm
my vote is for the glide
Vote - Walt Frazier.
Frazier is getting seriously underrated. He is the 3rd greatest PG behind Magic and Oscar.
Frazier again.
Dolph Schayes ahead of Walt Frazier.... just.
A very difficult decision though.
Nate Thurmond

7
Don't think Nate Thurmond will win this round, but cool to see a vote for him.
I actually see a Howard vs Thurmond vs Mourning battle much later.

And YES those three players are GREAT to compare to each other.
Frazier
Bill Walton.
Dolph Schayes
John Stockton should be higher. This list sucks camel dick. This is why the only list that matters is the list I MAKE. Other people's opinions. Don't.give.a.FU.CK.
The list is actually really good except:
- Garnett/Barkley/Malone over Baylor and Pettit
- Pippen over Rick Barry
Both were cases of youngsters voting for players they've heard of.
Other than that, it's a surprisingly solid list.

**** Rick Barry. Rick Barry was an overrated chucker. They didn't win the championship on his shoulders, they won it when his ass was on the bench and others could get involved and that idiot wasn't taking every single game shot. Rick Barry can eat shit. He's overrated as ****.
Walt Frazier for #33.
And Clyde the Glide for #34.

In the '75 Playoffs Barry averaged 42.7 MPG and led his team in points, assists, and steals.
Rick Barry, my next vote will be for E. Hayes
Rick Barry, my next vote will be for E. Hayes
Rick Barry was voted in at #28. So Hayes is your vote right?
It world is Stock better than Frazier?
Dolph Schayes and come to think of it he should have ranked higher than Stockton and Ewing.
Hrmmmm.
Drexler is a pretty cool guy. Eh had good handles and doesn't afraid of anything
Dave Cowens is gonna end up like 54 with guys like Pistol Pete ahead of him who nobody in the league even wanted at the time while Dave was winning multiple titles and named MVP by the players.
"Because **** Dave Cowens...thats why" is about all the reason I can see for him getting like one vote so far. Not like its even an ABA thing. Reed is in for winning 2 rings when he was a roleplayer for one and it was with the ABA going strong as well.
Its not enough to outplay the #2 player on the list in his prime to take home the ring I guess. And considering that...I guess there is nothing he could have done to make anyone care.
If 2 rings dont get you love what would 3 do?
Some guys just dont have that hook. I wont bring him up again.
It could be worse. Last time people put Payton at 28 and Kevin Johnson over Dirk.

Cowens wont go that low.
And Glove and GMatt are not here to help KJ.
People being impressionable enough to listen to it is what concerned me. How little information must you have yourself to be talked into voting for Gary Payton as a top 30 all time player and KJ 50 spots over Tim Hardaway? Maybe argue hes better. Whatever. 50 spots higher?
Elvin Hayes
Bob McAdoo
Pistol Pete Maravich
Pistol Pete Maravich
Richie Guerin > Pete Maravich

:oldlol:
I vote for Clyde Drexler
Frazier
Fraizer
Frazier is better than Stockton.... FRAZIER.
Also, agreed on Cowens and the moment that Pistol Pete is voted in the top 50, this list should be stopped because Pistol Pete is trash.

I look forward to arguing for Pistol Pete in a future thread.
He certainly was not trash; he had the misfortune of playing with worse teammates than nearly any 'superstar' in NBA history. Put him in Magic Johnson or Bob Cousy's situation and he'd be regarded as a top 20 player of all-time.
The man was phenomenal.
Dolph Schayes ahead of Walt Frazier.... just.

Schayes shot 35.9% FG in the '55 Playoffs when his team won the Championship that year. I just can't respect that, there is no 3 point line and defense is weak at that time.
Walt Frazier
Dolph Schayes might not get it now, but he's probably Top 40-45 range material.
Either Fraizer, Cowens, or Hayes take this.
