Haven't seen Schindler's List but when I have time, I plan to. I've also heard this movie is quite life changing.
Saving Private Ryan was a distant second but after SPR, there is quite a huge drop off from my other top 5-10 movies. I had a hard time believing while watching this in high quality that was made in 1998. I felt there were movies made after like We Were Soldiers in 2002 that weren't as well done in terms of graphic violence (although I thought that movie was also great too, especially if you know the history behind We Were Soldiers - they covered the less bloody half of the battle, the second battle at LZ Albany was literally an all out bloodbath compared to what was shown in the movie). I remember having a newfound respect while driving by my local VFW. I always knew it was there and I passingly met a few WWII/Vietnam vets when I was there as a kid. Our area has quite a handful of vets from Vietnam from what I remember.
The Dark Knight or Before Sunset
GoodFellas
I can't say I have a definitive all time favorite.
Forrest Gump
Good Will Hunting
Jurrasic Park
Back to the Future
Terminator 2
Halloween
Goodfellas
Taken
John Wick
Drive
These are all way the **** up there. Right now it would be Gump if I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO pick.
I really enjoyed it as a kid but as an adult it is absolutely ****ing brilliant and I see multiple things I didn't 100% get as a kid. Probably my favorite. Yeah.

How so? I just consider watching holywood movies to be more worthless than posting on ISH, which says a lot :oldlol:
John Wick was good, but just so fake man. Like, hella fake. Drive was absolute shit, most boring piece of shit movie ever.

Drive had a lot of butt clenching suspense and the soundtrack and score were near perfection. All of the actors were brilliant in their respective roles and the overall movie was... different. The appeal to me probably was the fact that's it considerable in it's difference from other films, and I've seen a lot of movies.
Of course John Wick was fake. So was Taken. Any movie where a guy can single-handily take out dozens of guys at once is fake and unrealistic. It's a movie. I don't judge movies off of realism unless it's intended to be realistic and follow the walls of "the real world".
The Prestige
The Fugitive
The Thin Red Line
Die Hard.
