What makes you think the Lions would go CB in the first round? They have an all pro in slay, just re-signed a capable starter in Nevin Lawson, picked up Deshawn Shead, and have two second year guys who should get ample playing time in Teez Tabor and Jamal Agnew. I would be pretty upset with a first round corner. Their biggest needs by far are a pass rushing DE and running back. I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't go with Hubbard or Key (if still available)

You can never have enough corners.

Most teams play nickle and dime 60 sometimes 70 percent of the time.

I think the RB depth they can hold off on taking one until second or third. Arden Key is a shaky dude and I personally don't like his tape.

If you play nickle and dime and one of your guys is bbq chicken, teams will exploit it. Shead is not someone I'd be banking on. Injuries happen quite often in the secondary.

Hughes I really like. If a pro bowl caliber corner is there, why pass on him because of Shead and Lawson?

Ignoring that cornerback is arguably the toughest transition from college to pros, would you rather have a good secondary (arguable that the lions secondary is borderline great already) w/ a moderate pass rush or great corners with a bad pass rush? Not being able to pressure the quarterback drains the secondary, especially when you have an offense can't run the ball and can't keep their defense off the field.

Skins would not draft Ridley over Vea. They just signed Richardson, Crowder is good slot man and they have hope Doctson can make a jump

None of those WRs are #1 guys I don't think. It wouldn't surprise me at all if teams thought Ridley was as close to Marvin Harrison as we've seen in awhile.

They may take Vea over Ridley. I have Vea going right after so we'll see. But it wouldn't surprise me if some teams (Redskins may be one of them) if they feel Vea is closer to Danny Shelton than Ngata.

"Coverage creates sacks, pressure creates turnovers"

That's how I feel.

ill go with the pass rush all day every day, for the same reason you mentioned.

a good pass rush can mask the deficiencies in a mediocre secondary (eagles defense last year was a great example of this), but a good secondary will get picked apart by any competent QB if your pass rush cant get any pressure. also as our resident football genius pointed out above, pressure creates turnovers...and the team that wins the turnover battle almost always wins the game.

The Wall will be complete. He's already been pictured hanging out with Tyron Smith. They went to the movie Death Wish together. True Story.

I think after signing a WR today (Deonte Thompson)... we can say goodbye to the idea of drafting one in the first round.

I got my money on Will Hernandez... he will not slip past Dallas.

He will serve as a good contingency plan if we cannot keep Zack Martin past 2018. So if Martin leaves in 2019... we move Collins to RG after he plays RT this year.

As long as we have Smith, Fredrick, Collins, and Hernandez going into 2019... we can survive letting Martin go. La'el Collins will be UFA in 2020.

We need to draft DB's and sign a defensive lineman somewhere in FA. We still have Randy Gregory, so there's a little hope there.

Rosen. My bad

yea, I have him sliding a little bit... similar to what happened to Rodgers but only half as bad. He'll probably end up being better than Allen and Darnold too.

Aaron Rodgers Mentors Josh Rosen

if Denver somehow drafts Chubb instead of Rosen... he slides all the way to 11 unless Arizona trades up.

I could see a potential trade with the Indianapolis pick if Denver passes on Rosen.

NYG should sign Dez to a two year $25 million dollar contract and Draft Barkley.

Give Eli some weapons in the last two years of his career.
