Lowry omitted.. Thoughts? First all star since Bosh!
Well deserved.
Lowry deserved it to though.
Props to DeMar for making it but sucks Lowry didn't make it.
Joe Johnson. :facepalm
Lowry has been the best PG in the East and should have been a lock as a reserve guard, along with Wall. He's been the best player for the Raptors since Bosh.
Joe Johnson being on that list kind of irks me. Lowry should definitely have made it too but congrats to Demar.
Happy DeMar made it, Lowry definitely got snubbed though. Starting lineup really messes things up though.. stupid fan voting.

True. D-Wade, Irving, and Melo shouldn't be starters IMO.

Wade and Irving, I agree. Melo has been playing well on a bad team, though.
Who would you have starting ? I guess we can just say Kyle and DeMar should be.
:oldlol:
I re-thought about that and yeah I take back what I said on Melo. He is a great player on a bad team. Demar has honestly been playing better basketball than D-Wade (and much more games) and Lowry has been better than Irving. Not saying they should be the starters but they would've been more deserving.
Am I the only person who thinks Lowry not getting an All-Star nod makes it more likely we are able to keep him for a reasonable price after this season? Some teams would have been trying to poach him for more than he's actually worth to say they got an All-Star in the off-season. He's still going to be something of a commodity, but we won't have to pay him an "All-Star" premium.

Believe me, your not the only one who feels this way.
All-Star premium or not, retaining Lowry will not be a cheap investment, trust me. With that said, he was definitely snubbed. Joe Johnson has 1 good month and suddenly he's on the team? Such bullshit.
Dwayne Wade does not deserve to be an Allstar same with Kyrie to a lesser extent.

Wade and Kyrie are absolutely All-Star caliber this year compared to the rest of the choices. The knock on Wade is the games missed but still, he's been great when in there. Maybe not over Lowry though and that's where he got screwed since they got voted in.
Just based on overall production, IMO, the 4 best guards in the East this year have been Lowry, Wade, Wall and Irving. Those would be the first 4 guards I'd take.
I guess the coaches wanted an SG which is silly because the outcome of the game is completely meaningless. Reward the deserving the players. I also read that some people thought that the Raptors shouldn't have 2 players on the team. Ok then, take Lowry over Derozan. That's a no-brainer.
^ Nope, Wade is poop.
