San Antonio Spurs radio announcer Bill Schoening has been named the 2014 Texas Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association (NSSA). On top of two national award winners, the NSSA annually names a Sportscaster and Sportswriter winner from each individual state. Schoening joins the Austin American Statesman
