Rising Thunder

Anyone playing this game? I think it's pretty damn good.

For those uninitiated: Rising Thunder is a fighting game that removes the execution barrier that most other fighting games have. It's a 6 button fighter: a light, medium, and heavy normal attack; and then 3 special move buttons. A built in Overdrive button allows you to throw an ultra move if you have meter.

It makes it so that anyone, once they have a little handle on the feel of the game, can start to play mind games, and look for windows, and throw combos. It's a brilliant idea because fighting games are damn hard. Like I'm decent at Tekken and shit at everything else and I like these games and play them more often than an average video game player.

This is a great idea, a great jump on point if you like the idea of fighting games, but hate how hard they are, and just plain fun. [URL="http://risingthunder.com/"]And it's free.[/URL]
