Another one.
Earlier at school, the sky turned orange as ash or whatever covered the sky. This shit started just a couple miles from where I live and hope it doesn't get here.
I never understood why local channels feel the need to interrupt programming to show giant flames of fire, for hours straight. I understand police pursuits have entertainment value... but fires? :confusedshrug:

CSUCI? ACHS? I grew up in cam.
This smoky smell in the air reminds me of the 2007 fires. Felt like I smelled that shit for 3 months straight.

Nah CIHS :lol I can see some parts burning or at least burnt out from the roof of my house.
Sky still orange which looks cool. Feels like it's sunset all day.
There's a new fire in Glendale, near the 134 freeway.

fire happens every year due to the high winds and dried up wild plants that get toasted during the never ending socal sun in spring. it would be weird to have a year where there WERENT any wildfires.

This thing was like 2-3 miles from my work, thankfully it spread the opposite way but we were kinda hoping we would get to leave early lol. I could see the flames on the way there. Scary shit.
Ones in Carlsbad and now Grenada Hills. Hot, dry and a bit windy out again.
This seems to happen every year. Why anyone would willingly live in such a place is beyond me.
Still better than "Tornado Alley" I suppose.
and another one today at the long beach/seal beach border
its been pushing 100+ degrees at the coast the last few days. makes paying these inflated prices to live here such a joy.
