[QUOTE=InspiredLebowski]Bill being proposed at the statehouse today, saves Pacers $10 million annually on Conseco costs, and increases a ****load of taxes. :banghead:

This is bad?

Not bad in the small sports fan sense, but I just wish they'd come up with a better way (should this be passed) then "**** it, let's raise taxes so people who couldn't care less about pro sports have to pay for them." Even the people who do care are being priced out of the games even further with the higher ticket tax. How do you fix it w/o raising taxes? Hell if I know, I'm posting about it on ISH. There just has to be a better way.
Re: Could the Pacers eventually leave Indiana?
things will turn around once we start winning and being a better team, though that could still be a few yrs away.
Re: Could the Pacers eventually leave Indiana?
Indiana couldn't be without an NBA team. I have faith that things will turn around. With Danny Granger making a name for himself, the Pacers could be one good draft pick and trade away from reigniting the fanbase. If the Pacers start winning, then people will gain interest again.
Re: Could the Pacers eventually leave Indiana?
i hope this doesn't happen...the NBA wouldn't be the same without teams like Indiana, Milwaukee, Minnesota (i like the north :D)

I don't see Minnesota going anywhere.
