He's funny but he's not the new Dave Chappelle.
Hart is no Chappelle.

Dave Chappelle was funny too, until he got his show ...
he's annoying
Hart is no Chappelle.
Most people didn't say anything about Dave before he got his show on comedy central. After he got his show, he's was now (all of a suden) better than Murphy, Rock, ect put together.
i haven't heard the dude, but it's pretty hard to take down chappelle. didn't he do like 8 hours or some shit so that nobody can f*ck with him?
chappelle took off on top. call me crazy but i think he'll come back with some shit.:oldlol: he's very talented.
"f*ck carrots".
half baked wasn't that good but it's a classic!! i use lines from that movie all the time.
"you should be kissing my ass"

I don't remember whether Killin Them Softly came out before or after the show began, but that standup is easily one of the best standup routines ever, if not the best. So the show really is a separate issue. And then on top of the standup the show was hilarious.
So fame notwithstanding, comparing someone to Chappelle is an extremely high standard. For the record I don't know much about Kevin Hart, why dont you link a video to some of his good bits.
Also, I dunno if he does standup but Tracy Morgan is a LEGIT comedic actor. He's not just hype and a hot name. He is really good.

I believe if Kevin Hart gets his own show and nobody will gives a shit about it.

Killing Me Softly was from 2000, he had a standup on HBO in 1997 was funny too.
Hart is annoying to me. Chappelle is infinitely more likable.
I believe if Kevin Hart gets his own show and nobody will gives a shit about it.
He actually had his own show in 2005, The Big House on ABC a sitcom. Hey, Dave's first few shows didn't last long either.

So what happened? because nobody gives a shit.
Wait a min....Dave's first shows....he turns down the deal. What show are you talking about?

I remember Buddies. Steve Harvey had a couple of sitcoms before his show took off.
I get a Flip Wilson vibe from Hart.

That's a good thing, Flip is a genius.
Off Topic.

Both of them didn't use that sample. It's sound a little bit similar.
Just answer my damn question.

Both used the sample differently, hard to choose.

At least, Keith Murray wrote his own shit and he's more lyrical than Snoop.
Doggstyle was supposed to be D.O.C.'s album. Imagine if he didn't lose his voice?
No, I don't believe he can be the new Chappelle. His comedy is one dimensional.
No, I don't believe he can be the new Chappelle. His comedy is one dimensional.
Yeah.. and that dimension is annoying as hell.
with the above posts, chappelle is chappelle. you can't explain it. it's just (in memphis slang)...that's that on that.
Hart getting severely underrated here...
That scene in 40 year old virgin is the best in the movie.
BTW, I do agree with you on Hart Kizzle. His material is also much more applicable to everyday society and most people. Very charismatic as well.
Those who don't know much of him, check out "Grown Little Man". One of the best stand up performances I've seen.
...that's that on that.
Mexican say wut?
Mexican say wut?
haha. not mexican. straight memphis. (i can prove it if you want)
lol.
but,
No way hes the new Chappelle but he's pretty funny to me. I died of laughter when I saw his scene in 40 Year Old Virgin but his stand up is kind of hit and miss to me. His thing about his conversation with a thug was hilarious though.
Hit and miss but hes cool to me.

I think what you realize is that he is only decent when experienced in small dozes.
Yeah, he should stick to bit parts. He's excellent in 40 Year Old Virgin.
"Ok, first of all, you're throwin too many big words at me. Now, because I don't understand them, I'm gonna to take them as disrespect"
lol, that line is so perfect because it so accurately satirizes the mindset of the stereotypical ghetto thug

Exactly.....only his best is the "Thug Talk Shit/Real Shit".

When he was talkin bout his kids at the zoo and that other place, hilarious.

Yeah, his kid stuff was funny.:lol "My kids are dumb babies."

He said his kids noise don't separate, just one long slur.
