No wonder Howard wants to leave

The Arena is just like the GMs around him, absolutely no support. It is embarrassing how dead they've been the all-star weekend so far. No enthusiasm, motivation, hell not even any boo's. Just dead ass quiet.

Who gives a shit about the crowd? :facepalm

Go to game/event to WATCH the game/event, not the crowd.

Also, Bulls' crowd sucks too. :confusedshrug:
You can always hear Boozer yelling, "And 1!" :facepalm

And I know this is directed at why players shouldn't play here, but I've read some of those, "this crowd sucks" posts on a fan point of view.

Are you kidding? Crowds greatly influence the atmosphere.

This atmosphere had a pulse of nearly zero.

Yeah I know it was really weak. Worse than normal.

For whatever reason fans are just not feeling all-star weekend. Just hope there is some atmosphere for tomorrow’s game. I really hope the game is close otherwise it could be really quiet.

OKC will never get an All Star game. The city is too small to host.

You're an idiot. It doesnt take much to host a ****in meaningless all star game. This ain't no super bowl.

Next year in Houston, we'll show how how to do it Orlando.

I'm gonna be screaming like a lil girl at a Backstreet Boys concert circa 1998.

No actually I am correct. They don't have the hotels to house all the people who show up.

If Howard wanted to go to a place where the arena was rockin', he'd go to Golden State

He would also only make the playoffs once in 20 years, play with a guard that breaks his ankles every other month, and play for team managment that drafts lottery busts 90% of the time.

But hey, the crowd is rockin!

Why wouldn't they hate him? He gave up on them, he brought them nothing, he ripped on them, Tmac left Orlando far worse than Shaq has left anywhere.

T-Mac had nothing to work with, Shaq did. You think Mac would have left if he had Penny, D-Scott, Grant and Anderson?

Sah lwft to team with Eddie Jones and Van Exel.

OKC is a larger city than Orlando, now if you said OKC doesn't have enough fancy hotels to host an All Star game, you'd be correct.

The Orlando metro area is larger than OKC metro area. Orlando the city, has a very small population because the entire place is set up as a tourist destination. It can easily support the incoming crowds that the All Star Game brings. OKC cannot.

Orlando is doomed, first Shaq and now Dwight.

Re: No wonder Howard wants to leave

I don't know is it possible but the All-Star weekend should be hosted only by cities with great fans.

Give it to New York,Portland,Oakland,Oklahoma City,Utah...

Florida has the worst fan base and it's not even close.
It's not just Orlando, look at Miami too. They have 3 superstars and there are a bunch of empty seats every game.

Give the All-Star weekend to places that actually deserve to host it.
Or even better, cancel it. It's shitty. Give the players a 5 day rest or just spread the games a little over the course of that 5 day break that supposed to be something fun.

those douche bags actually started leaving before the dunk contest was even over, I know it sucked but the crowd seemed like they didn't care about the weekend at all.

The 7-time NBA All-Star power forward rumored to be gay... I can't recall his name though.
