Harrison Barnes to attend North Carolina

I don't know yet. But apparently Barnes will choose a school today, probably between Duke and North Carolina.

Don't count Iowa State out.

Its between Duke, UNC, and Iowa State.

This is the perfect recruiting story because he has kept his recruiting clean, and has handled it perfectly in terms of creating suspense for a decision nobody "expects".

With most top recruits they have an entourage and other people close to them that "leak" leans to schools, and when they announce it surprises nobody.

My gut feeling is Harrison Barnes chooses Duke.

Hes taken a lot of visits to Duke even stopped by unannounced after his visit at UNC, and has said previously that he wants to graduate in 3 years.

"The Degree in 3" concept has allowed guys like Jason Williams and Mike Dunleavy Jr to graduate in 3 years.

I hope Barnes goes to Duke, that pretty much gift wraps Roscoe Smith to UConn.

YES!

I just watched it on ESPNU and I am glad he chose UNC, me being a huge UNC fan and all.

Can't wait until next fall, but for now we gotta defend this title.

What a ****in nerd, this guy acts like Carlton from Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

This guy wont make it in a NBA locker room.

.....bummer sigh.

Could have followed the steps of Grant Hill and Shane Battier. Instead he decided to join the dark side.

Wow, I respect the guy for taking schoolwork seriously and caring about academics, after all anything could ruin his basketball career, and i'm pretty sure you don't have to be a slang using thug to get along with NBA players.

And Interminator re-solidifies his position among the biggest dumbasses on the forum. This guy is ridiculously talented, and that alone will get him a lot of respect in any locker room.

Anyway you cut it, it's another big time recruit for Roy Williams and Carolina. The rich get richer.
