Tyreke Evans Might Be An All Star In 2 Years At Most
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
saw Casspi in this world allstars vs US highschool allstars Nike showcase game on ESPN 2 a few years ago. World allstars were getting beat bad, Casspi came off the bench though and played fearless, other USA players couldnt stop him because his strength and fearlessness, he was the strongest and best player on both sides of the court by the end of the game, then again it was just one game but I liked what I saw
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
tyreke is to young to see were his ceiling is. the potential is there but he better get with a shooting couch right now. that thing is ugly. not realy his release but his fade away on the shot. he wont develop consistant range until that gets fixed. for our sake i hope he does good.
Casspi is strong and scrappy but no offence that was in a league were most people are a little soft. so again just no way to tell is his game will transfer over the same way.
i liked the brockmen deal though. a little cash. a cheap point guard. and a guy who will probably see the d league. cant believe we didnt draft blair there but o well.
over all it is really just a wait and see. so glad we stayed clear of rubio. I said he was cocky guy for wanting to pick and choose were he came in the league at and people looked at me like i was nuts. good job pettrie seeing the problems and stayin clear of the hype. :applause:
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
ummm. Sac traded padagraph for brockmen some cash and rodrigez a 6'3 point guard from portland u dink.
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
tyreke has been impressing during the summer league
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
I'm liking Tyreke so far guys!!
You Kings fans got one hell of a versatile backcourt player :D
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
Tyreke Evans sitting out some games and practices concerns me.
Omri Casspi didn't perform well at the summer league but he'll be a good player for the Kings this year. He's only been with the Kings for four weeks and the adjustments to his game are effecting his offense, he normally makes more shots than he misses. He's going to be a surprise, there aren't a lot of people with the combination of his body and work ethic.
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
Evans will be sick in a few years; that kid can play.

tyreke wil be da best player by then. dis guy is legit. im predicting a chip for sac-town in 2 seasons.

well hes alredi da best playa on da team. i think that martin should be traded. hed only hold him back. tyreke will be scorin 25ppg in his first season if he is given this team and allowd to run da show. he'll actually win for us. with tyreke here, sactown is one of da most talented teams.
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
25PPG this season. no way. Im starting to like the guy more but hes not to that lvl yet. but your right. if he starts proforming well. martin definantly becomes moveable. The new coach already said it though. He dont know what he has yet and until he starts putting in his system and making adjustments. theres not gonna be any trades. once he finds out how everything is workin, you will see trades. until then kings fans we just have to wait and see what this team brings next season.

LOL
He scored 17ppg in college and you expect him to put up 25ppg in the NBA?
I would say 12ppg would be very good for the kid in his first year. You shouldn't put up unrealistic expectations for him you will just end up being disappointed.

mj wasnt scorin 28ppg in college either. though he came to nba and started beastin on kids. same will happen with tyreke. he will be the new mj. i know it and y'all will see man.
just watch him do his thing. he will go down top 10 all time, i know it.
and yes, martin will be moved by next season, though it should be done now!
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
I was wondering how Casspi was doing. I've followed him with the rest of the israeli league since he was at Galil and I thought he had the perfect nba body but lacked the coaching.
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
It looks like hes doing good. But with garcia and Noc and greene i doubt hes gonna see to much time this season. He is a SF period. But so far in practice he has definantly shown what they thought they were getting. A scrappy hard working glue type guy. Definantly a building piece.

I've only saw this team play a couple games so far , but this team really surprised me. Their record doesn't show what Westfall has done with this young team.
Man I have to say any team would do real well with a guy by the name of T. Evans ....... if you saw Oscar roberston play , you see some of him in Evans ...
This guy will play on championship teams as long as he gets with the right team.
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
tyreke and casspi ...the future of kings basketball... i dont know if hawes will be their center... for sure jason thompson will be there...
i would want martin to be moved ... hasnt been healthy lately. but i dont know where... or what team might be interested :D
Re: Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi
After finally being able to see a Kings game, I'm excited to see what they'll bring in the upcoming year. They hold a promising future for being such a young great team. Good work Sac-town !
