side story that happened just the other night--
my buddy was waiting for his uber around midnight when two young guys came up behind him and tased him repeatedly (arcing mode) trying to steal his smart phone. even tho he was a bit pasted, he managed to fight them off... but he did suffer a gash on the forehead (from the taser i think). this happened right around the corner from me.
based on the descriptions, these could be the same two guys who jumped me a couple years ago to grab my own phone. like, shit... kids are running around with f-cking tasers these days?? i'm guessing it's not a police-standard model, but still. :(
