Detroit Pistons enigma Gigi Datome said he hopes to go through a full practice Monday for the first time in almost four weeks.
Head coach Maurice Cheeks emphasized that last year's MVP of Serie A, Italy's top professional league, will have to earn a role and said it's "only right" that full participants in training camp play ahead of Datome as Wednesday's season-opener against the Washington Wizards nears.
