We need to sign Carlos Arroyo
And cut Chris Quinn.
Not only will this help while Parker is out, but he can be our 3rd string PG even when he's back. Quinn is just garbage, even during garbage time. He's like a hologram on defense. He looks like he's there, but anyone he's defending just goes right through him.
Re: We need to sign Carlos Arroyo
I swear, every time he's in there, the offense stops, and the defense becomes very poor. We were up 102-80 just now with 7 mins left with Quinn in there, so I go makes tacos and come back and see the final score was 109-99. So instead of being up 22, we give up 19 points in 7 minutes to the worst offensive team in the NBA, while only scoring 7 on the worst defensive team in the NBA.
What? :facepalm
Re: We need to sign Carlos Arroyo
Did you notice he was in street clothes vs the Heat? Maybe he's off the rotation for now.

Source: Celtics to sign Carlos Arroyo
WALTHAM, Mass. -- In need of a veteran ball handler to back up point guard Rajon Rondo, the Boston Celtics moved Saturday to sign Carlos Arroyo for the remainder of the season, a league source confirmed.
With Delonte West sidelined by a sprained right ankle, the Celtics were leaning on rookie Avery Bradley as the primary reserve ball handler on an overhauled second unit. With Rondo's playing time escalating, including a team-high 42 minutes in Friday's win over the Golden State Warriors, Boston decided to use a roster spot that will open with Chris Johnson's expiring 10-day contract to add Arroyo.
That's cool... just another NBA player not wanting a ring. ;)
Re: We need to sign Carlos Arroyo
Im also wondering why he wasnt waived or traded. I havent seen a good game from him to be honest. Even though he's only playing meaningless minutes, we still need a 3rp point guard who can actually play decently under the spurs system, just in case. But who are we to question what pop and the spurs organization thinks. Maybe quinn is a close relative with one of the higher ups or pop himself. :D
