Silverback Gorilla and it isn't even close.
Tough call, but I'll go with the bear
Silverback Gorilla and it isn't even close.
You sound so sure. Give an explanation if it's 'not even close.'
So I guess this has officially become one of those threads that pops up once or twice a year.

Not even close? :lol
The gorilla is smarter animal. But the bear has claws. Those claws could f.uck you up really fast :oldlol:

Thought about it a bit more and I guess the bear could have a chance. However the gorilla would still win. Gorillas are the next closest animal to humans. They are very intelligent and will not be outwitted by a bear. They are very agile and strong at the same time.

One good swipe by a bear and he will take half of a gorilla's face off
How many times has this been done? What's the fascination with this particular matchup?

Have you ever read Gorillas in the Mist? Gorillas are ******* unless cornered, or another gorilla is after their hoard. They track gorillas by their diarrhoea (laced with blood) they leave behind when they flee. Gorillas are shit scared of humans. Grizzly bears are not to be ****ed with.
A better thread would be:
Fatal 4 way, Grizzly vs Polar Bear vs Silverback Gorilla vs Hippo
Referee: Honey Badger
Bears have their claws, but Gorillas are much smarter and stronger. In Brute strength, Gorillas are only surpassed by Elephants.
You have no idea what you're talking about. :oldlol:
Here's some actual footage of a scuffle between a bear and a gorilla:

 I literally busted out laughing when it shows the man in the suit throwing a boulder at the bear and it hits him.

Grizzly bears don't like to be around humans either :confusedshrug:
This is a complete hypothetical. Neither of these animals live in the same habitat and they are both reluctant to fight so get that shit out of here.

Hippos are crazy underrated when it comes to p.issed off animal hypotheticals. They would f.uck someone up
Hippos are crazy underrated when it comes to p.issed off animal hypotheticals. They would f.uck someone up
For sure. Those jaws are crazy strong.
I still think the polar bear comes out on top though. I really can't see the gorilla being able to do a damn thing to the hippo.

Grizzlies are not reluctant. They can be cold blooded killers. We're not talking about black bears here, it's a muddyfunstin' GRIZZLY!
I think the way to get these guys to fight is to get them all hungry and juiced up on methamphetamine.

They are reluctant to fight. If you are walking through the woods and you start making noise, any grizzlies will leave you alone. Once you get in its way though, then it is going to attack. If either animals felt threatened they would be ready to throw down. I do agree that the hippo would probably do work on either of them.

KOBE OR LEBRON????
Is that better?

Gorillas are naturally terrified of poachers. They don't want to attack, they're *******. How often do you hear about gorilla attacks?
Grizzly: "I like blueberries a lot, but If I'm hungry I will eat you while you scream."
Gorilla: "I like eating leaves."
Definitely the Grizzly, the Gorilla was born in a weaker era.

It doesn't matter how they feel about humans. It is a match to the death against a grizzly bear. Unless the grizzly has a gun and a hunting license, the gorilla isn't going to be afraid of him.

Grizzlies face weak competition though. Dears? Rabbits? Come on man
Grizzlies face weak competition though. Dears? Rabbits? Come on man
Grizzlies have way more practice when it comes to killing their prey. Gorillas are herbivores for the most part

Gorillas don't fear the guns, they fair the unknown. They flee when they hear noises. They are true pussies. If a grizzly cornered one, that's a different story, or if he caught the grizzly with his schlong in one of his harem, he would go ape shit. Otherwise he's running, and has shit squirting out everywhere.
I have never heard a story about a grizzly being a pussy.
Yes I do. Gorillas can lift up to 10 times their own body weight. That's 2000kg/4600lbs
Well obviously you forgot about the ant.

dude a full grown Grizzly Bear outweighs a silverback 2 or 3 times and it's just as full of muscle. A grizzly would absolutely destroy a Silverback one hit with it's paw would probably knock a silverback out.
