How come states that pay their waiters minimum wage get by but waiters in the other states have to be paid 2.50 or prices will go up? Are restaurant prices in minimum wage states reasonably more than in the states that pay 2.50? Seems like a way to just screw over their employees to me.
I recently got fired from corporate America... and you know what?
Thank God.
Now, I can acknowledge that money is really the root of all evil, and we're better off without riches.
There's a difference between 'needs' and 'wants' ... but of course, in today's world, those 'wants' are now 'needs' ...
DING DING DING
Satan anyone?
:confusedshrug:
Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I forgot... Santa Clause and Satan are one in the same. Duh.
:hammerhead:
Santa Claus=Cal us Satan
Mind=blown
Ps I tip Santa cookies and milk on an average 100$ gift so basically about 2-3%...that's less than Asian waiters! I think I need to reevaluate my tipping priorities

I put out cookies for Santa too, but I usually eat them before he has a chance to get to them.
I made an order today for pickup. The lady who gave me my food looked at me like she wanted a tip. Did I do something wrong?

:wtf:
she didn't do shit except hand you your food, pay what you owe for the food and bounce.
you don't tip for pickup, at least I don't, nor do I think its necessary
Never tip for pickup.
Just curious, how do you guys tip bartenders? I'm of the thought that if they just pour me a beer from tap I shouldn't tip but if they make me a drink then I should because there's some actual effort going in. I usually tip for either anyway, just wondering if others had the same thought process.

She thought you was a rapper and wanted you to sign her tit a-hole!
No one expects tips for pickup.
I refuse to tip Chinese restaurants. I hate when I go to some average chinese takeout place and there's a tip section when you pay in credit. Seriously? Tip lol? I would understand if the place was a real restaurant with waiters but this type of joint, fck off. What angers me most is these people (and yes I'm referring to Asians and specifically Chinese) are stingy as fuarkkkkk and would never tip you anything but they sure love receiving them and trying to nickel and dime you on everything.

PS I also refuse to tip at the hotel. WTF tip the maid for cleaning my room? Sh*t has bit me in the ass though. Left my reading glasses in the room (and I know for a fact I forgot it in there) and I call the hotel back and they don't have it. Fcking Maria stole that sh*t because I refused to leave her a few dollars for doing her job.

dollar a drink seems pretty standard. unless its a tab, then 15-20 percent i guess.
if you are just getting a bottled beer, they probably don't mind if you only tip every other time.
