They got beat by a better team today in all areas, I don't understand how the lost can be lump on one player. He played a poor game, so did the offensive line, defense...etc.

If Peyton Manning was called a choker after games in which he played well (like Pittsburgh in 2005, SD in 2007) then Romo, for sure, should be called a choker in a game where he didn't play particularly well.

I'm not agreeing with it, but if it was acceptable back then it has to be now.

To me, this game can't be pinned on Romo. Was he a part of the equation as to why they lost? Sure, and that has to stop... he can't keep up this routine of being a reason they lose in the playoffs.... but to me? Their defense didn't play particularly well. The offensive line was pretty bad. It was a combination of things that lost them the game.

Romo made some steps in the right direction. He balled in the late part of the season and in their playoff win over Philly. It's something to build on.

It's unfair to call a qb who doesn't get enough protection a choker, apart from that awful interception you can't really blame him for anything.

like in the history of the NFL?

:ohwell:

how about McNabb?

how about Cutler?

how about Jim Kelly?

how about like 100 other dudes that were good but never won a ring?

gtfo...

McNabb has been the quarterback of one of the most successful franchises in the decade and he's a big reason for that.

Jim Kelly quarterbacked a team to 4 straight superbowls and really should be a superbowl winning quarterback.

There is such a huge difference between what Romo has accomplished quarterbacking a team (one playoff win to date) compared to those guys that it's unfair to clump those two in with Romo.

Cutler is still young.

McScabb & Kelly did go to the Super Bowl, respectively!

turns out that the team they had 2 years ago was a lot better than this years. its a shame they came into that game against the giants so confident. the giants were the beneficiary of that :D

so if you go to "the show" you are not a choker?

bet let Mavs fans know that Dirk isn't one then...

the entire definition of "choke" is when your nerves fail you in the "big game"...

any of you ever played in a pool tourny or a golf tourny?...when you need to make taht final shot to win the money you get nervous and it affects your preformance???...that is "choking"

the SB or Finals or WS is the ideal place for a team to "choke"...

the only time i feel romo choked was that seahawks game. otherwise it was a matter of a team overconfidence which probably shoots down from the douchebag owner himself.

Nice Article on the worst playoffs QB

Choking to me is when the rest of your teammates play well enough to win but you fail to do your part, and Romo doesn't fall in that category.
