define irony
"The black community has long prided itself on keeping it real. And today, with this NAACP achievement award, we recognize that nobody keeps it realer than Mr. Donald T. Sterling.
Mr. Sterling has chosen to accept this award via telecam, as he did not want to be photographed with anyone here at the ceremony."

People like money. What's new?
donald sterling didnt get to where he is today by associating the with wrong people. he protects himself and his image ( well he did ) and in order to get the right connections and friends in the business world you have to protect yourself and do everything right.
its not that all black and Hispanics are bad. its just that the percentages. especially in the 1% market. most people are not from that demographic
hes a success and i respect anyone for how they became a success as long as they didnt break any laws to get there. and its his right to choose his friends and like whoever he wants to like
the double standard here is.. some black people make it openly obvious they only associate with other black people. they promote it. and nobody thinks anything of it.
the white man is the one on the outside looking in. we cant make a "chappelles show" and rip on black people.. dress in pure black make up with red lips and be a news broadcaster. then speak in the most overdone stereotype black accent. but the opposite was done to us
white people are treated like garbage by the black community. we even got dragged into a murder case involving a hispanic and black man. for some reason anyone who isnt black is considered white these days. its the white mans fault a black man was killed by a hispanic?
its just ridiculous

Because he does those things on behalf of black people, so it's acceptable.
If he were white it would be egregious

How can you let one little mistake take away from a whole lifetime of achievements doe?

It's really sad how the white man has been held back and abused by blacks. I hope one day things change and they are giving the same opportunities and chances as the blacks that belittle and abuse them. :pimp:
