Wade by a landslide.

Wade scored more points, had double the assists, just as efficient, but KD looks better in the categories that matter?
:facepalm
durant and its not even close. just look at the standings

because scorer plays off the ball not statpad. Just look at how dominant 2nd 3 peat jordan is and tell me how much his apg.
:oldlol: I can name 4 seasons Wade has that's better than the season Durant is currently having(05-06, 08-09, 09-10, 10-11). 06-07 is better too before injury.

But Wade was scoring more than Durant is now ...

but the percentages of durant is higher. and look at the off rtg, despite the assists, durant clearly impacts the game more on the offensive side

Off RAPM is a better stat indicating offensive impact. Wade's 09-10 was higher than any of Nash's IIRC. Only Lebron beat him the same year.

I'm not denying that Durant is the more efficient, probably better scorer than 09 Wade. But you can't really make the excuse that Durant is a 'scorer' and therefore won't get assists when Wade was scoring more.

Good thing the game of basketball is only a one sided game.
Oh wait. It isn't you say?
What's that?
Defense?
So, let's get this straight. Wade was the better scorer, better facilitator, and better defender, but because Durant shoot 3s more efficiently, 2013 KD > 2009 Wade.
:facepalm :facepalm :facepalm
Wade, and the gap is so vast that it's like comparing the white hot center of a supernova to the incadencent glow of a firefly. To even suggest that it is a contest is equivalent to saying that The collected works of Edgar Allen Poe is pretty close to a prehistoric cave painting. HOW DARE ANYONE suggest that 28.4ppg is even in the same ballpark as 30.2ppg. Or that a P.E.R. of 28 is close AT ALL to 30. It's complete insanity to to compare these two When it's clear that Wade's season was the most monolithic and greatest achievement since Moses parted the red sea and Durant's season is by comparison a missed open layup.....
Come on guys!
Wade is better at offense and defense in my honest opinion and he does move well off-the-ball so he can be efficient without needing the ball every time.

Wade for me too. If Heat won couple of games more he would be most definitely the MVP in that season.
And personally, I would take that Wade's regular season over anybody's else in the last 20 years except for some of Shaq's, Jordan's and maybe toss up with Lebron' seasons. He was unbelievable, Jordanesque.
So many moments that I still remember even if it was only a regular season. He made every Heat game worth of watching.
