he's good... but he's gettin a little too close to birdman
Wayne has been one of the few artist that actually got better after "blowing up". His stuff now is much better than his "bling bling" days.
Anyone want to help me name all the rappers with the prefix 'lil?
Lil Jon
Lil Wayne
Lil Scrappy
I'm sure there's more.
"Dear Mister Toilet, I'm the Sh.t" - Lil Wayne
He's the best rapper alive - Da Carter
What was that stuff about him kissing Baby that Young Buck was talking about.

He's just trying to use another man's name to get people to notice him. It's pathetic really.
Lil wayne got good after jay was trying to sign him. Jay made him believe he was the best rapper and wayne ran with it and copyed Jay's style so i better not here anyone say they don't like jay but they like wayne.
Don't get me wrong with Jay out momentarily no one can touch wayne this guy spitts crakk
I'm not doubting he hasn't switched up, that would be stupid, because it's cleary evident that he has. But I've been listening to dude for a while
He's added this somewhat of a of a up-northern flow to his rap arsernal so to speak, but the actual lyrical ability is the same.
Bullsh*t. Some of his lines are so clever, they make you automatically rewind just so you can catch it all.
And some funny ones like " Dear mr. toilet, Im the sh*t. Got these other hatas pissed, cause my toilet paper thick".
Some of his metaphors he throws in his flow are great. And he may have stopped writing his stuff down like Jay Z, but I don't think their overall flow is all that similar.
i'm not what you would call a fan of rap, but he is the only rap or r&b artist to have a full album taking up space on my ipod. any others are just singles i happen to like....so take that for what it's worth.

Anywaysss I absolutely adore Lil Wayne. He may not be traditionally handsome, but his swagger is just incredible. And his voice is soo cracked up, unique that I just have to like him. You could also tell he's not dumb from his vast knowledge/references in his lyrics. Just make sure not to stick with Lollipop and Mr. Carter, and dive into a "Sky is the Limit" once in a while :)
Lil Wayne is the best rapper weve had maybe ever

anyway, lil' wayne is a good entertainer. catchy songs, songs with alotta bass, trunk bangers, you know . but he's barely even a rapper anymore. that last song that he did with kanye wasn't even called a collaboration, it was called a duet - all these "rappers" do anymore is sing with the vocoder. so in conclusion, good entertainer, yes, good rapper, ehhhh .. i guess, decent, best rapper? hell ****ing no.
