:oldlol: What I was thinking.
That's a good flick too. I don't see the reason for it's slight to put down Silver Linings. It's a quality flick.
It was. Solid 7/10. Best picture worthy? Far from it, IMO.
I'm watching the dead montage while listening to 'love me sexy' by Jackie Moon. Really changes the tone of this whole thing. :lol

Sure it is ... especially out of all the movies I've seen this year. It's in there for good reason. Stop hating.
A much better "misfit with psychological issues trying to get his shit together" movie from last year was The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
The lame HS bullshit in that movie is what doesn't make it better. Good movie though. I watched it last night.
If god had a sense of humor, Streisand would have a heart attack and croak in the middle of this song......

I'm not ... Qwyjibo just comes off as one of those pretentious movie snob dorks.
PS: Barba Streissand > Adele
Money 23, The Fighter or SLP?

Lol I know what you mean I've met some people on the interwebs that act like they're some high class critic presenting the oscars next year and have a bunch of self proclaimed titles on their internet bios :lol
**** Rex Reed and Chicago!

The Fighter with Mark Whalberg and Christian Bale's amazing performance?
Even though Bale might be my favorite current generation actor ... I'm going with SLP. I've already seen it twice. SLP has more replay value to me. It's funny, has soul, it's a moving picture about people with plausible flaws. Each character has issues, and each one is tremendously entertaining.
You?
Cmon! You can't tell me you actually liked the serious gambling problem solved with a ridiculous parlay that included a dance contest. CMON!
