dont do it op. it will ruin your life.
Not me. I have never been dumb enough to try weed or any other drug.
Whew...maybe once a month, if that. Sometimes i may do it twice on a weekend. It really depends on if i feel i have the time to enjoy it. I don't treat it like water.
I didn't smoke for the first time until earlier this year (24), and i was a total noob to it. To be fair i began with some apparent top stuff (Caveman) and since i hadn't eaten anything that made it have more of an impact. But to my surprise, i didn't hate it. I feel like it made me understand things a lot clearer, my memory improved, and it made me more honest. I feel a lot less weighed down by life days after i have smoked compared to when i haven't smoked in a while.
Its interesting because before i ever had it this year, i was very anti-pot. All the bs they feed you about how its dangerous and not good, and a loser drug or a gateway drug. I bought into it all. But then i met a grower who encouraged me to try it. I did and i realize not only was i wrong, but its definitely something that should be fully legal above alcohol and cigarettes (i know the politics of why its this way though).
With that said, i wouldn't smoke every day. Its definitely something to value in samples. Not to over indulge on.
Have tried it. Not for me. Not worth risking being arrested or questioned about having it in my possession.
I have. First time I got high wasn't fun at all, I started feeling really bad

how will it ruin my life? dependance? money problems? negative effects?

what about alcohol?

I don't know how old you are, but do you really need to ask. Look at other people that smoke weed. Don't repeat the same mistakes that thousands of other people have made.

do you do it that rarely because you're too busy with other stuff or because you dont wanna make it a habit?
what about alcohol?
No I don't drink alcohol. I saw enough people act stupid and kill themselves on alcohol. If you need alcohol to have fun or cope, than you have issues. I drank once when I was in the military. Some friends pushed me into it. It was horrible. I still had my right frame of thought, but everything was spinning. I like having control of myself..never drank again.

I have alot of friends that smoke weed on weekends only and they actually have good jobs or college students and also have less problems than people who go out clubbing and drinking every weekend. Im 21 by the way
i smoke everyday. i don't smoke nearly as much as i used to i usually smoke an 1/8th(3.5 grams) a week. i mainly just smoke when i get home from work and before i go to sleep it helps me relax some people drink a couple beers after work i smoke a few bowls.
do you do it that rarely because you're too busy with other stuff or because you dont wanna make it a habit?
A bit of both, but more so because i've done it for three days in a row before, and i felt like it didn't do anything to increase the joy or benefits of smoking it by turning it into a daily routine. If you keep it to a minimum, you won't build as great a tolerance, and the effects and joy of it remain consistent. I know some people who smoke everyday and you can't tell they're high, or they aren't as high as they used to get.
I like to treat weed like wine. Its something you should have to enhance an experience, or to embrace a moment, or just to bring a little ease and joy to the day/night. Not something you need to turn into a dependency to get through the day. But that can be said for just about anything, right?
One thing is for sure, if you do it, do it with responsible people who won't try to taunt you or mess with you while you're high, that kills the experience. When i first did it, everyone just relaxed and talked, listened to music, went for a walk outside a little.
smoked almost every day in late teens - early 20s
loved it at first, but it grew old as I grew older, and started causing paranoia which sucks...I don't like having a foggy mind, like my head clear now

Okay uninformed retard. :lol
I smoke at least once a day, normally when I get home from work. Just like everything else on this beautiful planet, moderation is the key to happiness. There is nothing wrong with being a responsible smoker that has his/her priorities in order and don't let Big Brother tell you otherwise.

Somebody retarding their mind with weed is calling me a retard. Ok..:D

those aren't every day smokers though...Gates nor Jobs could have done what they did if they were blazed 24/7
if we are listing everyone that has just tried it then that would be damn near every human that has every lived...

where did the guy I'm responding to say anything about every day smoking?
and how is it any different than having a glass of wine or a beer after work every day?

there is a huge difference between casual smoking and being a pot head just as there is with being a casual drinker and an alcoholic.
okay, well like I said, you might as well list every single adult that has ever lived...no need to single out people, EVERYONE has tried it once for the most part

they most likely weren't every day smokers but im pretty sure they did more than just try it once. What about you p.tiddy? you've done it before or are you still doing it sometimes?
edit: just saw your post at the bottom of 1st page

ok great. you realize he implied if you smoke at all you will ruin your life right?
Overindulging in anything is obviously bad for you.
First time, not much happened and all I got were the munchies. I remember going into a Mexican restaurant and the cashier looking at me funny.
Second time was more intense and it felt like my blood vessels were about to burst. I felt like I was going to die lol. For some reason, dancing like Michael Jackson helped null this strange feeling.
Third time was with a stranger I met on the train. Totally lost passage of time with this one. All I know was that, on my way home, I walked around the police station high, past a group of stoners who had the same look as I did, and through various groups of partying college students.
I don't smoke very often, think it's an overrated experience, and have no plans to smoke in the future. But I can see some positive effects it would have on people with cancer, anxiety/mood disorders, and chronic pain.

no missed that, lol
smoke weed everyday, i'm a straight A student so it hasn't affected me there but it has affected me in relationships and put me in some dangerous situations driving + some runins with police. the paranoia really ****s shit up. i cant see myself stopping for atleast a couple years tho, it keeps me calm and helps me deal with the bs i have to put up with daily..
I know a lot of professionals that smoke every day. Lawyers, scientists, even doctors. And i'm sure that everybody has had some crunchy professors in college.
It's like alcohol, if you let it get to you it can and will, if you use it responsibly you'll be fine. But unlike alcohol and tobacco, you can't die from it. You also probably won't drunkenly beat the shit out of your wife or kids because of it either.

Dont forget Bruce Lee! Infact he lit one up just before his death, after his death anatomy showed cannabis in his stomach/system (that was NOT the cause of his death tho lol)
I smoke less than 5 times a month because I'm too cheap and I'm a semi alcoholic too
Never even tried smoking to start with, growing up I played ball 24/7 and I never wanted to do stuff who wasn't good for me, haha, I thought it would make a worse baller.
Most of my friends smoke but I skipped it, starting late when I didn't do it during all those years would be beyond stupid. Never judged anyone though, it's a personal choice.
Max: once a wek
Min: once a month
I think it is good for my mental health to just let go and get high occasionally.
First time I really got high was at a buddy's house around the camp fire. I prob didn't say a word for 2 hours lol. I was just absorbing all the sensation and totally lost in my own mind. Then we went inside and I munched on some taco dip, fried chicken, and a giant soft pretzel thing. The night ended with me laughing uncontrollably for a half hour and then I passed out. Pretty much your stereotypical first time experience.
I'll let you know when I try it.
Hopefully OP, that you don't plan on doing it "to fit in". And FWIW, I would never pay for that shit.
Lol people here are pretty uneducated in the world of weed. I've always been very successful and extremely smart. I smoke several times a day. I usually have my bowl of hash with me. Never has me stupid or anything else that most people associate with stoners. Alcohol, on the other hand, is so muchworse than pot. I drink on occasion but its insane how alcohol is legal over weed.

Everyone is different, if I get high I am unable to do anything productive for the rest of the day. May I ask what is it you do for a living that you can do while high?

it is VERY typical for stoners to say something along the lines of "pot has never affected me" or even "I work much better when I am high, I am more focused!"
the truth is it is impossible to know if it has affected you or not...
you say that you are extremely successful and very smart?...(lol)...How do you know that you wouldn't be much more successful and even smarter if you didn't have a hash pipe shoved up your ass 24/7?
perhaps you would be giving Bill Gates a run for his money if you weren't blazing up all the time...you don't know
and the typical "many doctors and lawyers are stoners!"
if you were having heart surgery done would you want your surgeon showing up blazed fresh off a blunt???
if you were on trial for murder would you want your lawyer defending you after a few bong rips???
FCK NO!!! :oldlol:
give me the sober doctor and lawyer please...
Lol its not like all I do is sit on my ass looking ****ed out of my mind. And yeah weed makes me high but being high doesn't affect or slow me down from doing anything. And yeah, I am smart...not sure why that's so funny. Very good math skills, critical thinking, good social skills...all while I smoke weed. I've only smoked for about the past 3 years but it has never stopped me or slowed me down from accomplishing whatever. And I manage a local business at the moment. still in college right now.
