Orange fanta? Never tried a mixed drink with that. It might go well as a substitute for orange juice in a tequila sunrise. I tend to stay away from the really sweet drinks, going with beer and straight liquor or martini/manhattan type drinks. Something about cold weather makes it perfect for good bourbon or scotch.
Try coke + red wine, cold.
i once bought this awful homemade herbal brandy (when i say awful, i really mean it. but it was dirt cheap) while on the vacation on the seaside, and only managed to drink it with orange fanta. it still wasn't close to being acceptable tasting but it was best of all soft drinks i tried to mix with that $hit.
