Put each Franchises all time best player on the current roster.

Fun game.

Replay the last season except you get to add the best player in your franchises history to the roster and then guess at the results.

Ill start and provide a template

Blazers - Bill Walton

Send Hickson to the bench and start Walton. oooooeeeeee!

Would be awesome to see Walton and Aldridge run the floor together, add in lillard and Batum and you have one of the best passing teams in the league.

Result: 4th Seed. However Porltands problem isn't with it's starters, Hickson is a nice bench add but we would still lose to the Spurs or Grizzlies. Would love to see Walton and Duncan go at it though!

ATL's is obviously Bob Petit, but he played in an ear where 6'8 was considered extremely tall and now it's called tweener.

So if you add Nique to the Hawks they almost certainly make the ECF

If your best player is still on you team (Duncan) you can just replace him with a prime version, or go second best player if you want (Robinson).

I don't know your teams as well as you do but here are some fun ideas.

Boston - Russel
Brooklyn - Dr. J
Knicks - Fraizer?
Sixers - Wilt
Raptors - Carter
Bulls - Jordan
Cavs- Lebron
Pistons - Isaiah
Pacers - Reggie
Bucks - Alcindor
Hawks - Nique
Bobcats/Hornets - Zo?
Heat - NA
Orlando - Shaq
Wizards - Unseld
Dallas - Prime Dirk
Houston - Hakeem.
Memphis - Pau?
Pelicans - Paul
Spurs - Prime Duncan
Nuggets - English?
Minnesota - KG
Blazers - Walton
Oklahoma City - NA (sorry I won't allow Seattle players)
Utah - Malone
Golden State - Does Wilt count?
Clippers - NA
Lakers - Magic
Pheonix - Barkley
Kings - Webber

Sixers - A few options to choose from.

1 - Why not fix that glaring hole in the middle with Wilt.
2 - See what Jrue could do running with Doc.

Ahh I forgot about BOB!

I see it like this. Stick Bob at SF and when he see's how black the league is now his racism will fuel an anger driven season full of HARD fouls and many techs however his defense becomes legendary because all the rest of the league is afraid to drive against him for fear of post game retaliation.

Doc would be the most fun to see but I think Wilt fixes the team the best.

Am I crazy to think that by himself he Takes you from lottery obscurity to the conference Finals?

the spurs would be better off putting in prime robinson at center position than prime duncan (since you've said that addition of second best player is possible).

If everyone was healthy then:

Rose
Jordan
Deng
Boozer
Noah

vs

Magic
Nash
Kobe
Pau
D12

Would be the finals.

Why wouldn't the Warriors get Rick Barry? Mullin was good and all, but Barry is the obvious choice.

This Heat with a Prime Zo

I don't count Shaq because he wasn't in his prime with us, even though 04-05 Shaq would be better than Zo, but not exactly what we would want / need.

Then, going by the rules of this thread, you'd have to take Magic off the team.
