:facepalm
Anthony Davis has great hands, very good ball handling skills, good passing skills, blocks shots inside and out, and plays damn good defense.
Thabeet sat in the paint and blocked shots.
I don't even really like Davis, but OP is retarded.
And most important Davis moves very well around the court and in speed, both on defense and offense.
if the OP had the #1 overall pick, I wonder who he would have hyped?
OP is an example of the kinds of posters Jeff just allowed in recently.

Yep, trolling.
Yep, trolling.
jezus, your avi is disturbing, yet I think it works
OP, just so you know Davis used to be a 6'2 guard. I can't speak for his post game but he clearly has an offensive game. Comparing him to Thabeet and Biyombo is absurd.
Why are people so quick to hate on these players? I understand not thinking they'll be good but some people spit straight venom at some of these kids. I want every single one to live up to their potential but I guess I'm the only one who wants to increase the talent pool of the NBA

Credit to the great NBA4EVER
It's the manner in which those shots were blocked that makes the difference. Getting blocked shots simply by sticking your arms up is not the same thing as blocking a perimeter jumper because you moved from the paint to the perimeter faster than the offensive player expected you to.
Please find me a highlight of Thabeet making a chase down fast break block. Or blocking ANY perimeter shots.
Then watch Davis' blocks. Entirely different.
What's up with everyone being hyped up about Anthony Davis using his good defense as a main argument? Remember Bismack Biyombo? Remember Hasheem Thabeet? They were the best college defensive players in their class and hailed as the next big thing, and look how they did in the NBA?
You don't hype a player just because they dominated defense in college. You pick players for their potential on the offensive side. And Anthony Davis has not shown he has skilled offensive game, no good jumpshot, no post move, small hands and skinny body.
Watch him become the next Haseem Thabeet.
you stupid
:biggums:
So so many things. :facepalm
First off if a player has a solid offensive game and they are great defenders you will take them. Tell me, do you believe Dikembe Mutombo to have been over hyped? Or Tyson Chandler?
Secondly I looked at Bismack Biyombo, who didn't go to college, and ended up 8th in bpg, and 5th in block percentage as a rookie averaging something like 22 mpg. So... yeah... he's been what we would call effective.
Thirdly: are you retarded?! How could you possibly compare Hasheem Thabeet to Anthony Davis? I await your answer with baited breath. (Did I say that right?)
i still believe thabeet could be a good player. and 1 lockout year to already judge Biyombo is wrong.
that said, none have shown the skillset that Unibrow has shown.
i will be LOLing when anthony turns into a bust
