Sinister is up there for me. Watched it last night, and had to sleep between mum and dad after the movie ended.
Shit was disturbing AND frightening. Not just corny pop up scenes with loud sound effects.

Return to Oz
Grudge tbh
I was terrified after watching the Ring. I went with a group and it got so bad the whole theater was hysterically laughing due to everyone shitting their pants :oldlol: I thought the Blair Witch Project was a little scary, my cousin thought it was the scariest thing ever, I thought it was overrated. Good times.
A lot of shit was scary as a kid, but as an adult I have to say sinister is the scariest movie I've seen as well
Easily the most disturbing movie released in US theaters in a loooong time
That lawn mower scene tho :(
Grudge tbh
That pale japanese little boy that made cat sounds was that niga tho. So innocent but so scary
Saw the Austrian version of Funny Games once.
Not like jump out of your seat scary but that shit kept me up all night.
Are those Paranormal Activity movies scary? I've never see one of them...they look like they could be legit scary

If you consider blankets moving every 40 minutes scary, yeah
Not the scariest movie, but definitely the creepiest. Lots of "what the fvck is happening right now" moments:

Nothing has creeped me out more than watching some of those ghost youtube videos late at night. Most have been admitted as fakes by now, but at the time you're not sure and they are pretty convincing. You can't help but wonder if this one video you're watching is real and genuine.
Otherwise, the grudge creeped me out more than any other movie when I was a teen. I watched it again on Netflix last month and was bored, it sucked.
What about the actual movie (Sinister) ?
Is it good? From just reading the Imdb description, sounds pretty damn sweet..
Gummo is def a creepy, sinister movie. Very fuhcked up.
I remember being freaked the fuhck out by Blair Witch Project when I was younger.
Scooby Doo 2

I dunno what it's called but back in the day I used to stay up, when I was like 8 or 9, and try to catch nudity on movie channels. Well, I saw this one freaky ass movie. Shit is always freakier when you think you are gonna see some tits, too. It goes in a different pathway.
It was about some priest guy and that's mainly what I remember. The exorcist was pretty scary to a young me, too.
Lastly, I found the abominable dr phibes pretty disturbing, but I was super high.
