Re: Kobe Bryant unhappy - Calls his team mates soft
Because the guy painted Duncan to be the catalyst of last year's title when the whole entire team showed up.
Manu closed the series so he came to mind second I guess.
Duncan Wasnt the best player in 2007 either so... Yea. He might have been the backbone but he didnt do the most damage.

Finals or whole season? If it's Finals, I kinda get it (though most people are started to accept that it was Duncan). If it's the whole season, I don't know...Duncan was maybe twice as effective/valuable/good as anyone else on the team. He was the best or second best player in the league that year.
Re: Kobe Bryant unhappy - Calls his team mates soft
Well Title series were brought up.
Why can't people just be cool with admitting that Duncan is one the most consistent anchors in history and Kobe is one of the greatest and most complete scorers in history and leave it at that?
All 10 Championship teams differed greatly from how the other team constructed the rosters

Luckily for his teammates, 62% missed.
:kobe: get the rebound.
Re: Kobe Bryant unhappy - Calls his team mates soft
Duncan took a paycut because he wasn't deserving of more money based on his play.
He's not a box office attraction like Kobe, so 10 million is good value based on his play, maybe even overpaying him if we're talking about this season
Re: Kobe Bryant unhappy - Calls his team mates soft
What's the difference? It's the thought of it. The fact it even came out of his mouth. "Not doing shit for me" ... think about that. And you didn't answer me, you don't think that comment wreaks of selfishness? It sounds entitled, and spoiled.
You are incredibly hypocritical in celebrating MJ for the same shit and then criticizing Kobe for it, even if Kobe obviously didn't mean it in a selfish way, it was more of a "they can't do nothing to me on the court"

He's one of the 5 best defensive players in the league. He's been the clear-cut best Spur so far this season. :biggums:
Kobe's making 25 million whilst being one of the ten worst defenders in the league, and he's shooting 38% (no matter how you spin it, that's a negative offensive impact also).
Raw stats don't tell you anything about the game. Duncan is clearly the more effective player right now. His contract is a lot more lucrative (based on basketball play).
Re: Kobe Bryant unhappy - Calls his team mates soft
If we are judging kobes contract based on the sales he brings in, no one should be hating on lin for his contract then.
Re: Kobe Bryant unhappy - Calls his team mates soft
it sounded like this is the 1st practice Kobe has been apart of with this squad
"You m-----f------ are soft like Charmin in this m-----f-----. God damn, is this the type of s--- that's going on in these practices? Now I see why we've lost 20 f---ing games. We're soft like Charmin. We're soft like s---."
what about the previous practices, how is it you only NOW noticed? :kobe:

Exactly these guys are not going to harden up all of a sudden and management is fine with putting that trash out because they've tanked the last few seasons.

Way to lead from the front Kobe.
Re: Kobe Bryant unhappy - Calls his team mates soft
people are thinking money is the main reason why LA couldnt sign any big names. its a big reason but theres also another big reason. who the *uck wants to play with kobe? nobody, thats who. those are the two big reasons and kobe is behind both of them.
the dude is like a spoiled prince that has free reign to *hit on everything and lacks the perspective to realize how big of a d0uche he is. the lakers franchise is his kingdom. management is his daddy that lets him get away with anything. his teammates are the royal guard who have to begrudgingly support the prince or theyd be axed. his fanboys are his loyal servants/peasants who swore their undying oath to JoffreyBe.
