attitude problems will always ruin any potential a player may have
it's just a waste
He is a rookie, how can he have that much attitude. :facepalm
I guess his only excuse is that most people on that team are scrubs.
The Nets were convinced that Favors was the man. They didn't really entertain Cousins, despite his obvious superior touch with the ball. Cousins vowed to make everybody who passed him over pay - and they played the Nets two times within the first two weeks. Favors, a considered project outplayed him in one game. Then it became aparent that Cousins wasn't going to be in the ROY race after Blake showed athletic madness and Wall showed that he probably is the fastest to every play the game. Slowly but surely Cousin's motivation shows some deterioration.
We need more good big men so I hope he isn't an Eddy Curry.
Hey Wesley heard Flynn is coming back on Wednesday?
Stop talking to yourself
I don't understand the Cousins hype. He really blows. He's overweight, can't shoot, has no athleticism, and doesn't know what to do on the floor.
Can someone please explain to me how he's talented?
thank God the Timberwolves didnt draft him:pimp: :pimp:
Ricky Rubio!
Pretty sure you were the poster whom I was arguing with it about :oldlol:
No worries homie, I get shit wrong all the time.
This kid has talent, but he needs to be around some STRONG leadership. And I don't mean just a strong coach. I mean some NBA vets who will put the youngster in his place. Nobody on Sacramento is going to do that.

Because some of these rooks know their potential, or hear about the hype surrounding themselves, and they buy into it, eat it up, and get drunk on it.
Humility goes a long way in the NBA early on. When a kid's attitude becomes bigger than the game itself, it can literally DESTROY their careers....I mean I can shoot off a bunch of names along the years, that could have had nice careers had their checked their attitudes early on.
The last thing a player needs is a bad rep.....it can literally DESTROY their marketability around the league to the point where no one will want to take a chance on them, knowing their potential to be a cancer to a team....regardless of their talent!
Such a shame.
Hes young though so who knows?
I was hoping he could prove people wrong, he was my darkhorse for ROY
Welcome to your first step out of the NBA Demarcus Cousins. Go join Sean Williams wherever he is.
Yep.....a disruptive player, can be as damaging as an "injury prone" rep....teams just wont take that chance...I mean christ, look what happened to AI after her completely killed his reputation along the years. AI could STILL contribute today if he wasnt a pain in the ass.

I think that's mostly because Stern hates him.
I would say someone with the talent to be in the NBA who's gotten a bad rap he can't shake is Rashad McCants. And yes I'm only bringing him up because ESPN has lately. I didn't know that was the reason he wasn't making a roster.
