lmfao... lets just throw Wilt out of Top 10 shall we? :oldlol:
My vote: Wilt Chamberlain
I've seen other "all-time" lists with Wilt as low as 6th. Don't know why some think this is some huge travesty. Of course if it was Jordan, Kareem, Magic, Bird, or Russell being voted here, there'd still be people complaining.
I think there's cases to be made for all 6 of these guys for not only a top 3-5 spot, but possibly the #1 spot.
Anyway, my vote is Wilt.

You have seen nothing cause I've seen him outside of the top 10.
Wilt

I have a hard time ranking Wilt #1 over Jordan but from what I've seen/read about what hes done to his piers including kareem etc etc easily make him an arguable number 1 2 or 3...of course I'm biased towards my own opinion but I almost think its foolish to rank him any lower then 3 or 4...But people are entitled to think what they want... but the people who rank Kobe over wilt deserve a :facepalm...IMO :D
What a joke of a list!
Why the heck is Michael "90's cupcake" Jordan doing at number 1?
My list...

2) Kareem Abdul Jabar
3) Kobe Bryant
4) Bill Russel
5) Magic Johnson
6) Oscar Robertson
7) Larry Bird
8) Tim Duncan
9) Snack O'neil
10)Jerry West
11)Michael "shirley temple" Jordan

LOL!!!!!!!!!!
Wilt.
Shaq did his thing, but if Wilt were in the modern era doing what he did, he'd be banned from the league.

Shaq's got #7 locked down though.
Shaq.
Wilt.
Not sure why it's a travesty that he's #6. Unless he's your clearcut GOAT, #2-6 is very interchangeable. It all depends on your criteria of a great player.
I look at individual dominance, but equally regard how that individual's play factored into the dynamics of the team. Part (but not all) of that assessment can be tallied through team wins, playoff record, championships, ect.
Tis why my personal Top 5 looks like this:
MJ
Russel
Magic/Kareem
Kareem/Magic
Bird
Not to say Wilt doesn't deserve to be up there. I've personally only researched enough old games, articles, and statistics to get an outline of the great player he was, so who am I to say he wasn't a Top 5 player? What I do know though, is that the 5 players listed above were great enough in their own right to be considered the Top 5 greatest, ever.
Shaq
Wilt
Give me Shaq. Wilt's playoff success or lack there of really makes it hard for me to rank him #6. I would feel like a hypocrite placing him behind Bird/Magic but above O'neal.
Shaq's postseason and Finals play were both considerably better. His competition at center was too.
Wilt
