Well hes shooting 70% for 2 pointers, the stats are misleading. If you take into his 3pt shots which fell 6-25, hes shooting about 54% from the field. For an NBA player in China, this isnt really that impressive.

Everything I've heard indicates that T-Mac is playing fine. DJ Mbenga has been garbage and his Chinese teammates are some of the worst in the league. It was the same deal last season with Lester Hudson in Qingdao --- he literally used to shoot 20 threes in some games.
actually that FG% is a lie. well, its different from how we perceive it. he is 36-52 on 2pt FGs. and 6-25 on 3pt FGs. so do the math, it is 42-77 shooting, rounds up to 55%. still above 50% but nowhere near as impressive as 69%.
not impressed anymore :confusedshrug:

It's still impressive since those 3's are mostly heaved up in desperation mode from a lack of help.
They're going to need to get better production out of GangLin Yang if they have any hopes of reaching the playoffs this year. I wouldn't mind seeing Gang Wang get more of an opportunity to jump in there and get his hands dirty either.
YongGang Zhao's shot selection has to get better. He's an awful 5/14 on 2P field-goals and 14/29 on 3P field-goals. Clearly he needs to take many, many more threes, and cutout that nonsense of shooting inside the 3P line.
Player, New needs to step the **** up.
Kinda like his Orlando Magic back then, eh?
Player, New needs to step the **** up.
Well I think he'll need a few games to become fully acclimated to his new environment but he's not off to a bad start.
Does anyone know how much he is getting paid?
Damn, those guys must be practicing their FT 24/7

A million.
still think t-mac has three/four more years in the nba instead of playing in china.
There's almost no way the team is shooting 100% FT's (77-77). They probably don't have FTA stats available.
Edit: I checked another team (Guandong Southern Tigers) and they also supposedly shoot 100%. This seals it...
Same old T-Mac, just nothing but totally empty stat padding.
No wins in the Chinese Basketball Association, LMAO
In 36.8 MPG, he's averaging 24.6 PPG on 69.2 FG% and 100 FT% (33-33!!!) to go with 6.2 RPG, 5.2 APG, and 1.8 SPG.

He's been putting up some monster games here and there.
Better to see him do this, rather then sitting on the bench on the NBA.
