Larry Sanders's Hidden Potential

He is currently averaging 8.1 PPG, 6.9 RPG (2.1 ORPG), and 2.1 BPG on 22.3 MPG.
What impresses me most is that he also averages 4.8 FPG with these statistics alone, which obviously limits his minutes and full potential. If Sanders is able to limit his fouls, he can potentially play over 30 MPG and easily average Ibaka-esque stats.
Thoughts?

I've always thought this kid needed more time on the court. You just have to find a way to fix the fouls and he should be able to average Kris Humphries numbers.
But his impact would be 20x that of Humphries because he is a good defender.
Re: Larry Sanders's Hidden Potential
I've always liked him and ought he had huge potential but never plays a ton. I never paid attention to his fouls though.
Re: Larry Sanders's Hidden Potential
always liked him, never knew that foul trouble was such an issue for him though, holy shit

His game tonight is what I'm talking about :applause:
Re: Larry Sanders's Hidden Potential
Larry is an interesting guy...
= Maturity ..
I have been seeing him become a better person as well as a better player.
Hidden stat's as they are , he loves people , great in the community , and last summer worked on all things (dialing down) his game.
Skiles said in an interview once during the summer , that if Larry continues to SLOW his game down , he would be an animal in the league.
Last night showed some of that dialed down , 'let the game come to you' work ethic
Triple double , pts, rebounds and BLOCKS !!!!!
When he is interviewed I see alot of a young Dennis rodman.
IMO he should be starting at the 5.
If you watch a Bucks game , and key on him , just think of what Skiles said.
Re: Larry Sanders's Hidden Potential
Dennis Rodman like game just hope they him thrive on defense thats all he should worry about now he will get his o from the glass and it looks like he is perfectly fine with that and his spacing on the floor is great.
Re: Larry Sanders's Hidden Potential
like the kid, but indeed he needs to play some more
Re: Larry Sanders's Hidden Potential
there are two things holding larry sanders back.
#2 = his fouls. he needs to get them under control.
#1 = his coach skiles. dude is fucking stupid giving dalembert/pryzbilla/udoh so many minutes. skiles gives dalembert all the minutes then sits his ass the next game. skiles is a fucking joke around fantasy league forums.

Yeah. But the NBA is no fantasy and Skiles is not playing for Yahoo awards.
Skiles has a team full of roleplayers and a bunch of chuckers in Jennings Ellis and Harris. And if you'd actually watch a game or two you'd understand why Udoh gets minutes. He's their best interior and help defender and most steady player, unlike Sanders who just had another streak of clueless games.

I'd go after him if I was Miami...don't know what they could give but still.
