Garnett. Easily.
prime shaq + prime garnett = holy sh!t
The truth is, every knowledgable basketball fan knows Garnett was better than Kobe Bryant, and they would draft Garnett ahead of Kobe, but the same people put Kobe is the top 5 in league history while Garnett is barely a top 30 player ever. This is just frustrating.
Kobe because he thinks he is :confusedshrug:

Sure, that team would have the best regular season record. I'll take a young buck Kobe, and MVP candidate era Jason Kidd and some serviceable players over them in a playoff series though. Last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter Shaq still needs a true dribbling closer to get him over the hump. He'll do the heavy lifting for 9/10th of the time, but he needs the right 1/10th player, and that is not Garnett!
You give prime kobe pau gasol and u almost get a 3 peat. ill take kobe easily

Especially JKidd who couldn't be a spot-up shooter at the time.
If I were to draft Garnett or Kobe right now, knowing how their careers will pan out, I take the rarer talent in Garnett 10/10. Not saying prime Kobe is easily replacable, but a scorer wing is MUCH easier to find than a ~22/13/5 sf/pf/c 7 footer who is an elite defender in today's game.
KG.

The ony reason the Lakers even won in 09 was because of KG's injury. Before he went down, The Celtics were far and way the best team in the league and better than the 08 Celtics team. They took that fool Magic team 7 games without their best player.
Ive always thought that Garnett was better than Kobe, not Boston KG, but Minnesota KG i thought was a much better all around player.
2006-2008 Kobe was better than KG EVER was.
Both are 1st round fodder without stacked teams
idgaf how good all around kg was. he was never even close to being as good a scorer as mamba. anyone that think this is even close is a retard.
