I thought it was Adidas that was holding it back.
honest question jeff, but do other reporters mind you making a report off of somebody else's report?
i know that you cite berger as a source, but still, does it not irritate berger in this case that you dont just link to his article, since there isnt anything in yours that isnt in the cbs article?
just wonderin'

If they get credited and linked, it just sends more people to their own report than would normally read it otherwise.
So, nope. It helps them.
according to that source, The Bulls would only give up deng boozer and asik for Howard and Terk? is Dengs stock that high right now? I am a bulls fan who feels that deal is to good to be true.

If we include THE WHITE MAMBA we're way overpaying. :pimp:
glad that didn't happen, i want nothing to do with boozer's long ass contract
I don't get why Howard wouldn't commit to this. What does he want? If he wants rings, a Rose/Howard combo is fvcking scary. Is Chicago not a big enough media market for this guy? Is he too busy wanting to be Deron's butt-buddy that he won't go anywhere unless he signs as well? I don't even like the Bulls, but the idea of Rose and Howard on the same team is making me squirt.
As with the Melo-drama, the most this shit drags on, the less I like Howard.

He wants to be The Man, and that wouldn't happen on a team with Rose.
If we include THE WHITE MAMBA we're way overpaying. :pimp:
He is out of the question all together! maybe THE Mamba himself for Howard straight up...
He wants to be The Man, and that wouldn't happen on a team with Rose.
Pathetic. Does he really think he'd be "the man" in Dallas? Or Brooklyn? Or practically anywhere that ISN'T Orlando?

Adidas won't allow Howard to sign there long term due to DRose already having that market. They are Adidas top 2 guys.

He can't be the biggest star, and that seems to b important to him.
He wants to be The Man, and that wouldn't happen on a team with Rose.
He should stay in Orlando then. Because to win rings he will always share the glory with another guy. Dwight has had descent teams and couldn't quite get it done. Dwight will be with a big name star in EVERY large market team. The Nets would still be DW and Howard, and Derron is top 3 PG.

Exactly my thought
Adidas won't allow Howard to sign there long term due to DRose already having that market. They are Adidas top 2 guys.
Possibly true but if Chi has his Bird rights that's another 30 mil, right? Is the Adidas difference bigger than that? Nike didn't keep Wade and James apart.
Orlando so dumb. Boozer? :facepalm
I thought it was common knowledge that he didn't wanna come.
Whatever, I think most Bulls fans have moved on from a possibility of Howard coming here. We waited 10 years for a superstar, we got ours, Howard can be the star wherever he wants to go.
Orlando so dumb. Boozer? :facepalm
Boozer has been playing good this year. His numbers and out put are the best they have been in Chicago. They are pretty close to Utah days.

Addidas has zero say. Get out of here.
He could also be put off by Rose's apparent apathy (maybe even antipathy).
He could also be put off by Rose's apparent apathy (maybe even antipathy).
He's made it kind of obvious that he just doesn't like Chicago. He always talks about how bad the weather is so obviously he cares more about weather then being on a great team.
He should stay in Orlando then.
That's what I've said all along, and its probably what's going to happen.
DHo will lose millions of dollars by not staying in Orlando. His parents don't want him to move, and he likes living there.
Plus, he hasn't articulated any coherent reason on why he wants to leave. He's just an indecisive goofball.... or maybe he wants to get away from his baby mamma. Who knows?
He's made it kind of obvious that he just doesn't like Chicago. He always talks about how bad the weather is so obviously he cares more about weather then being on a great team.
But then why would he be willing to go to new Jersey?

He doesn't have a 2nd guy - a Pippen, Gasol kind of guy.
If he goes to NJ soon to be NY, he has Deron Williams.
Boston would be another great place - Rondo would be his 2nd guy. Plus he has much higher expectations, which would make him a better player.
He's kind of lazy right now on the offensive side - his low post game should be way, way better than it is.
He's an idiot. His main goal should be to win a championship.. DH is a better player than Rose. He's gonna be the no.1 guy in Chicago.

omg props to you for waiting so patiently and miserably for a star for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong 10 years,
after 6 championships

I don't think a Knicks fan should be saying this
The Bulls org. also had tragic events such as the Jay Williams thing happen.

He's overall the better player but Rose is the better offensive player and the hometown hero. He could never eclipse Rose's popularity in Chicago.

i would trade all my friends for 1 nba championship. meanwhile you bulls fans have 6...unless you weren't around for them. maybe the guy is 15 years old and wasn't around for that. so i guess i feel his pain
Wow im surprised Noah's not in the deal
The main reason is Dwight want his own not one with a big name star like Kobe or Rose he just want him. That's the main reason why he don't want to go the Lakers, Bulls , or OKC. He wants to go to Nets because it would just be him and Deron Williams. The Nets will still get the short end of the stick because they are going to have to give up everybody just to get Dwight. So if that's what he wants give it to him.
I've no idea what Dwight wants anymore. The fact that Chicago isn't really having to gut the team in order to get him makes no sense. The deal doesn't even include Noah. We could move him for a decent 2 guard like Ray Allen who would help spread the floor for Dwight.
He also doesn't seem fussed about going to the Lakers and playing with Kobe. What Big man wouldn't want to play with him?
Dwight should just stay in Orlando.
I don't get why Howard wouldn't commit to this. What does he want? If he wants rings, a Rose/Howard combo is fvcking scary.
Rose would not make Dwight better. Deron would. Boozer would still be a 21-12 with Deron. Deron is a better passer/distributor.
Not to mention Otis Smith would be fired right after he made this deal. Boozer/Deng for Dwight?
Rose would not make Dwight better. Deron would. Boozer would still be a 21-12 with Deron. Deron is a better passer/distributor.
Bullsh*t.....

Pretty sure he has said he wants Brooklyn.

deron is the whole reason why boozer got that fat contract.

This makes no sense, how hard would it be for Rose to feed D12 in the post or throw him some alley oops:facepalm
I could do that:lol
A line up of
PG Rose
SG Rip
SF Turk
PF Gibson
C Howard
would be pretty sick
While hes no Red or Jerry West...I wouldnt count on Otis Smith being that stupid.
Pretty sure he has said he wants Brooklyn.
He also said he wants to win.
Nets would have to get rid of everyone and anyone that isn't Deron to get him. Sure they will be a good 1-2 punch but they won't be getting past the elite teams in the east.
