Re: Knicks Working on JJ Redick Deal
I will never change my stance on this... Tyreke is the answer. We need a slasher
Kings would have to be brainless morons to give up Tyreke for Shumpert, Tyreke while scoring and being a better passer/ball handler/slasher can lockdown people just as well as Iman its just for some reason commentators and fans completely ignore how good the guy is on defense hes every bit as good as Shumpert. The Kings would be better off trading for Evan Turner/Danny Granger or something like that if they are going to trade. I'm sorry but Iman I like the dude but Tyreke playing average is like Shumpert playing at his best.
Tyreke still young as hell and can improve his jumper and actually maybe if moves are made play on a team suited to his strengths.
Iman for Marcus Thornton and maybe you got a deal but even as crap as Thornton has been thats a big if as well.
Re: Knicks Working on JJ Redick Deal
It would have to be Shumpert and Novak, or Shumpert and Camby to make deal work.
Buh bye Novak.

In situations like these we need diversity in the offense...we need a 2 foot floater, not a 20 foot 3 pointer
Not such thing as a 20 foot 3 pointer.

Buh bye Novak.
Hopefully Novak stays. He's NY's biggest 3pt threat.
Re: Knicks Working on JJ Redick Deal
C.Brewer
T.Mozgov
W.Chandler
And maybe even A.Miller
are players the FO would be willing to give up (depending on the return). I'd try to keep WC as long as possible, unless the deal is too good to pass on
You work in the Denver FO? How do you know who they are or aren't willing to give up?
Re: Knicks Working on JJ Redick Deal
I'd love to see this go down. The knicks will shoot all the threes

I love Novak but he's absolutely useless in the playoffs.

The deal id make.... Shumpert for Tyreke Evans
Serious question, and it's not directly for NewYorkNoPicks but Knicks fans in general since you guys think Shump is so high on every team's radar. Why the fck do you guys value Shump so fcking high? I understand team support and all but to think Shump can generate a trade for Tyreke Evans is fcking retarded.
Shump is a good perimeter defender and that's it. Perimeter defenders aren't worth much in trade value in the NBA. It ain't like the NFL where a shutdown defender can be traded for great value.

The Shumpert for Evans deal would be like me as a Kings fan saying trade Evans for Harden.
Its just a highly unrealistic trade and on top of that everyone seems to forget the dude has had BOTH his knees repaired.

You know what? This gives me an idea. The Knicks should trade Shumpert for Harden. I think that's even better than for Evans.

That might have happened, if the Thunder had picked Evans instead of Harden.
Evans and Westbrook in the backcourt - who knows. That might have been unstoppable, or it might have been a disaster.
Re: Knicks Working on JJ Redick Deal
No **** you guys you cant have him
Can we?
Re: Knicks Working on JJ Redick Deal
LOL Trade your best defender besides Chandler for another Novak. Typical Knicks.

JJ Redick is 10x the player Novak is.

Maybe so, but on the Knicks he will be nothing more than a spot up shooter.
