Looking at the '95 Bullets, Howard started 52 games, Webber started 52 games and Gheorghe Muresan started 58 games.
To me, that has to qualify.
Listed heights. Not your estimates based on one guy standing next to another guy. Or some random argument you had on the Internet. It really isn't difficult to understand.
"Listed Heights...especially in the "modern era" have become a WELL KNOWN joke.
Re: What is the tallest first five in NBA history?
I thought it was common knowledge that Hakeem was 6'10"?
Re: What is the tallest first five in NBA history?
Hakeem was definitely not 6'8" :oldlol:
I wouldn't pay much attention. Guy loves to argue about inane sh!t that no one else really cares about.

Maybe that is a good reason for you not to contribute to this thread and go jerk off to a picture of Wilt.

And, he was definitely NOWHERE NEAR 7-0, either.

Yeah it is, but the thread is about the listed heights as its just for fun.
Most NBA players are 2 inches shorter than actual listing.

This childish reply coming from a MODERATOR. What a disgrace.

Juwan Howard - 6'9"

If the shoe fits... ?
I have no problem with you personally. I actually like some of your posts in the threads about classic players. But, it is pretty clear we are using the listed heights in this conversation, otherwise you can go through and dissect every player on every team that every person mentions. There are always going to be an inch or two here or there that a guy is given credit for which maybe wasn't the reality... But it will probably even out, so who really gives a sh!t?

Or, "that's what she said."
Both are applicable.
Re: What is the tallest first five in NBA history?
how about the 2002-2003 Mavericks
PG: Nash 6-3
SG: Finley 6-7
SF: Nowitzki 7-0
PF: Lafrentz 6-11
C : Bradley 7-6
:wtf:

Hey, I was MERELY pointing out the well known fact that Hakeem was nowhere near 7-0, and Sampson was nowhere near 7-4. As for the rest, yes, you could argue these "listed heights" until the cows come home. And, as we have already read, you could also argue the listed lineups, as well. I suppose you could find a roster with five players around 7-0+ and use that as an example, too.
In any case, I apologize to those that I may have offended by posting about Hakeem's and Sampson's actual heights.
