Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
Kevin Martin had some thoughts tonight.
Kevin Martin: “Coach Jackson should talk to a couple of his bench players, make sure they get wet behind the ears ...before they come barking up our players' trees." Martin went on to say the Warriors made "dirty" plays.

Reggie Jackson: "I think it’s the young guys on the Warriors who kind of got (Martin) a little hot, talking trash."
"I guess I ought to thank them for waking up the monster in him, so I do give them a shout out for that one.”

Why are the Warriors such a brash team? You have a bunch of players who want to start shit every game but cry to league officials or the media when somebody does anything to them. Was Mark Jackson this much of a poor sport and douche when he played? I wasn't a Clippers fan back when he played for us in the early 90's.

Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
They are 30-19 which is significantly better than expected. I give them a pass. They will learn how to harness their energy as they mature together.
-
Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
They forgot their place as a mediocre 1st round exit team. They are same as Denver, a good home team fueled by the crowd that pushes the pace but jacks up 3s instead of attacking the paint. Yet when they get punched they have no answer, they are frontrunners.
They need to re-learn their place and take their losses AND wins with grace, not be little whiny bitches.

Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
The Warriors should learn how to dunk and stare at opposing players and opposing benches then flop on defense.
-
Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
I'm hoping its clippers vs warriors or even better clippers vs nuggets and you guys get bounced so you shut the fu*k up:lol

Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
Were all sick of Blake Griffin's antics. Flopping, Taunting, Crying, trying to fake being tough, it's pathetic.

Don't let your personal feelings get involved here. Multiple teams have complained and you should be able to acknowledge it having watched it. Also.. I agree last year the Clippers flopped and Blake stared people down after dunks. Although none of the complaints about the Warriors have to do with flops or staredowns. But rather trash talk, dirty plays and acting classless towards opponents.

Funny thing is this wasn't present when Bulls destroyed them. Noah/Gibson would murk whoever tried anything.
Seems like they act this way vs soft Western teams, but when tough East teams come over they are quiet like mice.

How many threads do you make in a day? Serious question.

Today I made about 4 including the game thread. You asked a serious question and I give you a serious answer  . In general? I've been posting way less and making way less threads the last two months or so. Better yet is today my ratio was 3 non Clippers threads to one Clippers thread.

Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
You named two players from one team. And one is a scrub who should keep his mouth shut.
Where do you get this "long list of teams"? Kind of extreme.

Clippers and Rockets recently have had issues with the Warriors, both in interviews and on the court. Not every team is going to talk to the media about it but it's a trend nonetheless. The fact that a normally very low key player like Kevin Martin would call them out speaks volumes.
I edited the OP though so it's less exaggerated and not confusing. Handful of recent examples would have been more accurate.

Clippersfan86, don't you believe that most of the warriors players are respectful of others? This is far different that the baron davis, stephen jackson, and al harrington days when they did all kinds of shit.

I think the main guys for the most part are pretty respectful most of the time. It's your coach and as these guys are saying.. your young bench platoon that are classless douchebags who regularly try to start fights, commit dirty fouls out of the blue and carry the same poor sport mentality of your coach. When it's the Warriors celebrating or hitting 15+ threes it's okay. If anybody else does these things though Mark Jackson complains to the media or commits dirty fouls.

How do you know this it wasnt present when we lost to the bulls?I'm willing to bet that there was trash talking going around during the game.

Let me just ask you a question with all respect and you give me the same class. Do you feel your team gets a bit ahead of themselves with the kind of stuff I'm talking about? Are they a humble group who acts like they've been here before? Or do you think they are letting it go to their head a bit?

Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
Also i think the guy that is trash talking and playing dirty is Draymond Green.Hes a old school player and doesnt back down from anyone.
He was trash talking Lebron at miami and i still remember lebron got a and 1 on him and yelled back, draymond immediately got in his face.
Also no one should have a problem with the bench antics pretty much every team does it its just that we have a really enthusiastic young team especially Kent Bazemore.
-
Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
The only ones I see crying to the media are these pu$$y as Thunder players. Reggie is a scrub, and Kevin should just be grateful he's finally on a team where he can be himself; a one dimensional chucker.

Bazemore and Green are the leaders of this on the court but Mark Jackson has the maturity of a teenager and seems to encourage bush league stuff from his players. I'm all for them being a rough and tumble team ONLY if they don't go to the media and complain about shit like they have. Like bitching about Houston running up the score or bitching about the Clippers... or bitching about the refs.

We you Clippers with Paul have been a very good team and a team that other teams love to beat. So when Blake air balled, Bazemore just got very emotional. And the fans were going wild too. So they were just having a lot of fun, but were not trying to intentionally mock Griffin.
As far as Houston, that was extremely painful and you should give us a break for wanting to end whatever they were trying to do.

They are a young team that have never experienced this before so ofcourse they are going to jump up and down after every 3.I dont think its meant to show the opposing team up (except when Blake hit the side of the back board:oldlol: ) they do it because they are young and and having a shit load of fun.
In the coming years as they mature and and get better they will calm down a bit.

So you think it's genuine excitement and these complainers are overreacting? I'm sincerely wondering if trying to start scuffles and getting in people's faces are expressions of excitement for teammates etc.

Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
Clippersfan86 the young warriors are just trying to have fun. They are having a lot of fun actually. But the bad thing about that is that when they lose, they get extra extra emotional. So it's a double edged sword kinda thing.

I find it hilarious that a Clipper fan is talking about another team's "antics" when they have players that do shit like this on a regular basis.

I'm actually not complaining about them in general. Nor is dodging an elbow or a flop if that's what you call it... related to what this thread is about. I'm merely expanding on what Martin said... basically trash talk+dirty plays, nothing more. I don't care if they flop or if anybody else does.

Actually yes I do. It's one of those things where when it's not you who's dealing with it.. it's kinda funny. I'm all for trash talk and hard fouls. Which is why I don't get why I'm being attacked just for saying NBA players seem tired of it. I PERSONALLY love the in your face basketball.
Of course when they are playing the Clippers it's annoying but otherwise it's entertaining.

Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
Yeah Warriors are annoying, especially that one nobody that does a Deandre reenactment every time they hit a three.
But Clippers have zero right to comment I'm afraid.
-
Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
I for the most part don't mind it althought Draymond Green is getting abit annoying, for someone teams leave wide open and don't even bother contesting or guarding cause he bricks it so often and has no handle or anything he sure talks a lot. This is like the 4th game in a row he talked crap tried to be tough and can't back it up, he screamed at Vince Carter when a different Warriors player blocked him and he was acting like he got the block or something.
Im all for physical play and trash talk if you can back it up, but when your a borderline scrub than its best to keep quiet when you are getting carried by good players around you.

Good thing the Clippers have never complained :confusedshrug: . I'm a basketball fan posting what an NBA player said and giving a little bit of an opinion, nothing more. So the Clippers are irrelevant in this discussion. BTW once again... players aren't complaining about the Warriors bench celebrations. They are complaining about DIRTY PLAYS and TRASH TALK. Not sure how many times I need to repeat this. Flopping, celebrations by the bench etc aren't an issue.

I'm guessing it was Draymond Green, Jeremy Tyler and that weird looking kid Bazemore. :oldlol:

Re: Teams are sick of the Warriors antics
I have never seen anyone talk trash about Mark Jackson the way CF86 does. I'm being serious, not anyone in the media, in any articles, nor even posters here. From what I've read and heard, he's one of the most respected coaches in the league.
