your boy just broke out of rehab, ama
2 weeks in i dipped. the arrangements were tight, huge mansion with a pool and a basketball court. the therapists are very good, some of them are even former addicts with crazy amount of time sober, probably a top 5 recovery center in the country. arizona is like a recovery hub btw, lots of recovery centers out here and this blows the rest out of the water. don't go to the ones in LA, they are a joke, there's one that lets you bring in escorts and drugs lol.
met some amazing patients there, some fellow addicts, others beahavioral patients. i'd share some funny and crazy stories with you but i'm bound by HIPPA laws, i will say this though, there was never a dull moment in class :lol
will share with you the story of a speaker at a CA (Cocaine Anonymous) meeting. hilarious dude, think of an older JB Smoove but that smoked crack. his talk was mostly unintellegible because extreme crack users lose their teeth, but he kept talking about balling out of control and how he used to smoke the "yella crack" i lost my shit during the meeting

Didn’t even read this shit my stretched marked out attention seeking brother. Save up money for skin trimming surgery or whatever they call it and stop eating refried beans and carbs. Once you are not obese and have flapping skin with stretch marks you will probably not have a need to do drugs and drink anymore. Sucks you couldn’t be a fit playboy and party without being a gross mother ****er.
Re: your boy just broke out of rehab, ama
Why did you "break out" if it was such a nice place?

JB Smoove had a relapse and crawled into highwhey's room at night. He pounded that fat brown ass all night long. Our poor friend is now sitting on a bag of ice back at home with half a 30 pack of Tecate Light already gone.
Re: your boy just broke out of rehab, ama
I'll share my story with you highwhey
I stayed in a Sober-Living Community Center in down-town Dallas for about 16 months,... this is back in 2014/15. About 40 residents max (women & men of all ages from across the USA), we had many come & go as time passed, but if you had to live there, you were going to get to know everybody on the island on a very personal level. You basically got to know everybody's life story, why they were there, all the problems they are facing, and almost every woman who came through that place was single. You'd witness people relapse and get kicked out, some even died right there on the property, but almost every night there was a campfire right in front of my apartment, and everybody from the community visited with one another. All you had to do is walk outside your door and you had a social life.
sadly, for a man who at the time was in his mid-30's, this was one of the greatest life experiences I've ever had. I had no idea how great I had it at the time. Better than anything college or office-life could ever offer.
There were pretty much three rules on the Island:
Go to Meetings (on the property)
Stay Sober, absolutely no relapses allowed (regular testing)
No sex with any with other residents the first 90 days of being there, absolutely no visitors, strict curfew enforced... after 90 days, you've earned your freedom to do whatever.
oh and on every Sunday... you had to stand in front of the entire community, and talk for a few minutes. This was nerve-racking for a lot of people including myself, but you were going to be apart of the fellowship no matter what. You were not allowed to be shy on Sunday.

Didn't really stay in contact with anyone there after a year had passed from leaving the Island. We all went our separate ways.
But for that brief time period in my life... I was on the Island like Leo... right there in the heart of the Dallas skyline.
Rehab can be the equivalent to paradise if you let it... just hopefully you get rehabilitated (I was not fully rehabilitated when I left)

or rather, why did you break out if you knew you needed the rehab?

^ See, here is a photo of your typical sober living community.
you might say the guy to girl ratio is a little bad for this community... but you have to understand, a third of those dudes in the photo are probably gay, and that's why they have addiction issues to begin with.
Some are too far gone in their addiction or undesirable.
So take away about 10 of the guys in that photo, couple of the girls, and the playing field starts to level out...
chances are you'll become friends with the competition so you can game plan on which girl you going after.
Sober Living is the place to be Highwhey... It's basically the after party for us addicts & alcoholics.
If you can live in one of those places for a year... you will begin to recover.

The million dollar question
Re: your boy just broke out of rehab, ama
The endless cycle of the weak-minded OP. In a few weeks he'll create another thread about how he's a piece of shit and about how he drove to Mexico and he pulled a fast one on the cops and about how he needs to get in rehab again and about how he lost a good woman and yadda yadda yadda.
The endless cycle continues with this guy. What he needs is a good ass kicking.
Re: your boy just broke out of rehab, ama
I agree with Patrick, go back bro. Why did you leave?

Phoenix looks like a boring city to live in... If I lived in the desert like that, I'd probably drink all the time too.
Just a city surrounded by dirt.

i'm looking into sober living aka 3/4 houses after this treatment center. i cannot return to my place, i know i will continue to relapse.
went to a pool party last week during treatment at a sober house living apartments, was cool, lots of hot chicks but there was definitly some people there that aren't "trying to be sobe", aka, they're there to fullfull some court shit, not by will. and you know as well as i do that if you aren't ready to be sober, there isn't a program or center in the world that will keep you sober.
