Lakers Forum v. Clippers Forum

This website is a simple proof point that the Clippers will not be the preferred NBA team in LA for a long, long time, if ever.

Look at their activity versus this forum... I hear crickets in there...

Go Lakers!

Even the crickets left.

Not our fault(clipper fans) we like posting on our own dedicated website:cheers:

Lakers may have more of a following but the Clippers have a better team.

The only reason I dislike the clips is because I dislike a lot of their players except for sam cassel.

and with Tim Thomas heading on to LA that makes matters MUCH WORSE for them.

He isnt as good as radman.

I think the concensus is that the clips got a radman upgrade for a cheaper price. The only thing is TT is a lil older but he shoots it as good as if not better than Rad and can go to the post and is by far more athletic which naturally makes him a better defender (b/c neither is particulary good). Plus if we're gonna play that same kinda intimidating tough bball we did vs phoenix, then TT would be much better than rad.... and then there wouldn't b all these questions about what if we bring in this guy, we might have to bench rad n he'll ask for a trade... b/c TT played off the bench in Phoenix for a while n didnt complain.

That's right, he's much better then Radman. Sure, Vladi is the better shooter, but Thomas can play the 3-4-5 effectively as he can play offense and defense in the post, Thomas is a much better ballhandler, Thomas is a much better rebounder. Finally something a Laker fan said was right as Thomas is better then Radman, not "as good"

I'm pretty sure they are the exact same person...he just changes the color of his skin and goes back and forth for games. He just sits outside, waits for the kickout, and jacks 3s. Same person...just like Raja and Bowen are actually the same player. We know this because they are both cheapshot artists.

The Clips made a big mistake signing TT - the dude is notorious for only performing during contract years. Mark my words, he's going to sit back and get lazy again, just like he always has when given a long-term deal. The dude has no competitive fire and doesn't care about winning, he only cares about the $$$.

I agree...except for the playoffs. He DOES show up for the playoffs. That's where he will earn is $$$ next year.

Kobe4MVP 08-02-2006 05:11 PM

Nope, he won't have a good playoffs either, not until his multi-year contract is on the verge of running out in 2010.

I dont get what all the hype about the clippers is about. They had one more win than the lakers last yr despite how much more talented they are and the season series was 2-2. Both teams took suns to 7 games so honestly, I dont know what all this "clippers are contenders" talk or how much clippers are better than the lakers.

They probably would have had more wins until they started to tank to get the 6th seed and play Denver in the playoffs, which was the right thing to do, but with the new rule changes thats not going to happen.
