[QUOTE=enayes]Djoker's stamina went sky high because he went gluten-free and started sleeping in a hyperbolic chamber. There in no secret here.

Congrats on Murray for pulling out the win today. My prediction was very close.
Murray won 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3. God I'm good.

Nope, the Federer and Nadal rivalry was and still is epic. Andy and Novak are anything but.
Re: 2013 Wimbledon Thread
john mcenroe thinks murray will win
and that the game has moved on from federer and nadal, that they arent fast enough to keep up with djokovic/del potro/murray
BBC coverage is all over murrays dick

Re: 2013 Wimbledon Thread
What's the average age a tennis player becomes washed up? Its seems like these guys decline at an extremely young age. Federer has been on a downward trend for a while (i think) and what is he 31 or 32. And Nadal just lost well before the final.

It's actually later now than it ever has been. In the past, when you hit 30, you were considered a senior citizen in the Tennis world. Now, you see some players peaking in their late 20's, and still having success in their early 30's.
And despite the 5 set match, I'll take Djoker on Sunday.
Re: 2013 Wimbledon Thread
And McEnroe is right about Nadal and Federer, but for different reasons. Fed has definitely lost a step, and beating some of the younger top players on tour is going to be more challenging each tourney that passes.
Nadal still has plenty of gas in the tank, but I'm starting to wonder if his knees will hold up. Winning 7 matches in a row, in a major, against top level players, playing the physical type of tennis that Rafa does...
As for the Fed vs. Nadal rivalry... that's over. A healthy Nadal will handle old man Fed on pretty much any surface at this point.
Re: 2013 Wimbledon Thread
@bdreason,
i totally agree, but that
Re: 2013 Wimbledon Thread
any of you guys notice bartoli, seemingly after every point, would touch her racket off of the wall behind her.
kinda strange
i hope im not jumping to conclusions, but maybe she has ocd?
Re: 2013 Wimbledon Thread
Bartoli has been one of my favorite players for a long time, so it's nice to see her finally win a major.
I don't know if she has OCD, but she's always done lots of weird little things between points. I think it helps her stay focused and motivated.
