excellent work...
keep posting your updates.
i liked it :applause:
Thanks for listening guys.
Insert:
- An opening fragment in soprano that blends or prepares refrain of soprano melody
- Chord prolongation before beat drop for hair raising surprise effect, too predictable
- Something a smidgen higher than your high C
Delete:
- 5ths where possible until they come out of nowhere so WHAM
- Whatever that boring chord that opens the fourth measure
Nice rhythmic undertow pulling the squeeze and punctuating the beat drop. Terrific effort amigo, your passion for sounds is as pure as your preference for conspicuously consumed quality buys. Nobody gets it but they just don't get it.

Thanks for the feedback.
I was playing around with the new Reason demo, and I really enjoyed the strings from this new rack extension (which I might purchase). It was a very quick track (I did this in 10 maybe 15 minutes) so it's far from finished and I might go back and rework it by adding more layers and different melodies to it.
I also have to be careful not to over-produce it.
As far as the beat itself, I didn't want to overkill it so I kept it minimal with the drums. I initially was gonna add some trap drums, but sounded corny and took away from its ethereal feel.
If you liked this track, check out some of my other soundtrack-ish ones:
https://soundcloud.com/agua-1/solemn-013 this one is a piano driven very subtle track. One of my fav tracks I've done based solely on the mood.
https://soundcloud.com/agua-1/saddrama I've always pictured this track as part of a movie score.
https://soundcloud.com/agua-1/piano-012-redux another minimalist piano driven piece
very old piano piece (had shitty keyboard and so the velocity on this sucks) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdvCxuVL8Ds I was heavily into Dustin O'halloran and Chopin during this period
And another... LOL

I got tons more if anyone is interested. Composition wise, they're not very complex, but I feel some of them are capture mood and ambiance.
Good to see someone else involved in music on the site. Yo, are you still in Canada?

yup
Sounds good man.
Short but has heart, could see being used in a film score at the end of a emotional climax or end credits
