Why worse? Why don't you also look at their career totals? If Lebron's career ended today, would you really put him several seeds in front of Dirk?
That's what the voters should ask themselves when they vote on a list like this. You can't just assume that the rest of their careers will play out the way you think it will. You gotta go by what they have done so far, or just wait until their careers are close to over to try and determine their place in the history.
Thats what everyone is doing.
If what you said was true,we would probably see lebron ranked much higher probably in top 5.Think about this he can have more MVPs than anyone and probably 2-5 rings and 2-5FMVPs.Thats good for #2 and some would even say #1.He is projected to be in top 5.He is not there yet.
As i said before some fans hatred clouds their judgment.Lebron career accomplishments trumpswest, moses malone, oscar robertson accomplishments. His numbers is much better and considering he is playing at a superstar level since his sophomore year.
Jerry West, for the fourth and hopefully final time (I have little issue with Bron and Moses being placed above West, not how I'd vote them in but no big travesty at all seeing as both are accomlished enough. Oscar is debatable, but still nothing to scream and shout about).
This is the spot Kobe should be at if half the posters here weren't Lakers fans and it was a truly unbias collection of NBA fanatics.
An arbitrary list has no "should be" ranking.
And if the Laker fans weren't here, where does Magic go ? How about Shaq ? Where's the Logo at ?
This whole list would be different, but sure as hell wouldn't be unbias.

If you're logic were truly viable, Kobe would be ranked within or extremely close to the Top 5 area, not #8.
You used to be a reputable poster Milesberg, back, back in the day. Now, you seem like a old, very bitter man. What happened man? I'd think you'd have a more joyous disposition with the team you spent so much time defending finally receiving a title in 2011.
