Anyways, I think this is great news for Laker's fans. You can blame the coach, Dwight's free throws, Nash's injuries, etc. all you want, but the true culprit has finally said he can no longer lead and he needs someone to step up to the plate.

As a closet Laker's fan, this is good news. We'll finally see some progress.

Why are you so mad ..

This is good news. The man simply cannot lead and the team is better off if he acts as a role player and takes less shot just like how he did it WHEN THEY WON 5 CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Laker's fans are so stupid.

I am not a laker fan either genius. Try again. Also being a team leader does not mean you have to do everything in the team. He said that he needs someone to lead the offense because he plays better off the ball, like he needs Nash to help him WIn. He also stated the team needs to use gasol on the low block like they did in 2010 which is true.

Nobody has win by themselves, specially not your favorite player in the whole wide world :lol

Do you know what the responsibility of the team leader is ..

Take Lebron for example (when wade decided to give him the title), he was the offensive coordinator, team motivator plus mentor, his opinion was more valuable than the coach, and not to mention, he was the sole reason why players wanted to go to the Heat ... the man just knew how to harness the talent around him, thus players were playing their best just because of his presence.

In that group, you can add MJ, Bird, Russell, Magic, etc. as true team leaders. THEY MAKE THE GUYS AROUND THEM PLAY A LOT HARDER THAN WHAT THEY WERE TRULY WORTH.

It is the most important skill in basketball and it is the one attribute that seperates the hasbeens from the greats.

Kobe does not have this attribute.

If you think MJ was on that group I lol at you...and leadership can be define in many ways by the way. The method he uses is lead by example same as MJ did. He's not a vocal leader like Bird,Russell or magic was.

Either the OP didn't read the article or he just can't read because the title no way relates to the article at all.

Also I don't think Lebron is that good of a leader when he has 2 of the top 10players in the league backing him. He has 4 damn all stars in his team! Kobe only had one because two of them has been injured most of the year. And there Is the team chemistry or rather lack of....

LBJ wouldn't have a 9-15 or whatever record with the Lakers. Remember, LBJ's #2 guy in his CLE days was MO WILLIAMS!!! :facepalm Kobe has a better supporting cast and look at his record.

And do you think this team with prime Kobe would have the same record? Try thinking before you post.

Kobe's face is not that symmetrical. Who said that?

His left eye is noticably squintier and shaped differently than the right.

I didn't stare. It just jumped out at me.

It's always been a feature of his I've noticed. Not a bad thing. He's still a goodlookin guy (no homo).

Kobe Calling Quits

If you have been reading my post lately, you will know my position on Kobe:

The man simply cannot lead.

I love the man; I watched him ever since he was a rookie; he was great at the beginning, but ever since he got invited to a P. Diddy party after his great performance against Jordan in an All Star game, he kind of went ape sh*t and thought he was all that plus Jessica Alba in a thong bikini.

All the purist knew the first 3 championships belong to Shaq. They knew the true leader of the team in the next 2 championships was Fisher. In fact, the only people that actually thought Kobe was the be all end all GOD they proclaim to be are these people: Kobe Stans

They don't see the purity of the sport; all they see are the highlights and they get a raging hard on when, and I quote a Kobe stan, "Kobe doesn't even look like a man of african descent, his facial features are perfect in it's symettrical precision and the connecting lines are bisected by a given point pinpointing straight to his peeenis, which I get off on."

I kid you not. Ok I am exaggerating, he didn't say the peeenis part, but the rest was exactly what he said. This man is of age, probably above 30 since he has been posting on here for quite some time, he prob has a wife and kids, and yet he is speaking about Kobe in that kind of manner. I don't know about you, but I find that eerily disturbing, y'know, someone who can pretty much see a basketball star as a model and yet claim with a straight face he is not gay. This I cannot understand ..

But anyways ...

Like I said, Kobe is the team leader, coach, CEO, and sex slave of the entire organization, and by him finally giving up his leadership (or lack thereof), there is actually a light at the end of the tunnel.

The future is going to bright for LA afterall.

No sodomizing fantasy>?
