The Moochie Norris Appreciation Thread

If you don't remember Moochie Norris you're too young to be on ISH,he was a journeyman in the NBA but he was a decent PG overall for his career.

I remember him mostly for his time with the Houston Rockets in the pre-Yao Francis-Mobley days when they were bad and Cuttino Mobley was their leading scorer, and Steve Francis gave you a sick highlight every game.

This man's afro was a major part of his game, notice after he cut the afro his career declined and he ended up with the Yakuma Sun Kings.

I remember him, lol. I liked him when he was with Houston, don't know much about his whearabouts in the league now.

On another note, I can't wait for the Keith Van Horn Appreciation Thread...seriously, he is/was one of my favorite players. Had the long socks and that nerd turned baller look on his face, lol.

Cat only lead the team in scoring once when Francis missed half the year.

Last year Moochie averaged 11.7 PPG/8.9 APG/5.4 RPG for the CBA-champion Yakama Sun Kings!

I thought he was on the Knicks just one season ago, in 2006-07. I just remembered his 'fro and thought he was pretty cool, but he wasn't really anything special as a NBAer overall in my eyes.

For a while, Moochie Norris was the most clutch player in the NBA. He hit every, and I mean EVERY, game-winning shot he attempted.

Moochie was a nice guy. He's a good person and a funny guy, but he just wasn't cut for the NBA.
