I know it's an age-old question, but what's your choice for outdoor basketballs?
[QUOTE=Lebron23]Just recently bought a Molten GG7 last August. I love using this ball because of the grip, and it's pretty much very durable. I think it will last for very long time.

What's the difference between the gg and the gf?

GG7 = Outdoor/Indoors
GF7 = Indoors

Nice, I think I'll get a GG7. I think it'll help since all basketballs used here are Moltens. Btw, I play in my backyard which is some flat concrete ground, but mostly uneven ground along with small gravel stones around the area. Will it damage the ball too much or you think it'll be okay? Do you ever wash your ball if you use it outdoors? I've obviously had other balls but they're mostly the cheaper rubber balls I find in local stores so I didnt really bother washing them of the dirt.

I mixed them up then. Indoors one is great and we bought one for playing in a gym during the winter. They look really similar tho...

Yes. I wash my basketball every time I uses it.
Spalding Zi/O Excel is my choice for outdoor basketball.

the rock by anaconda sports mcdonald's game edition
it's like 30 bucks and it's the official ball of the mcdonald's game. feels super smooth and is a great ball that is as good as balls 2x the price
Was using Wilson Evolution before but can't find it anymore so I'm poundin' the Wilson CIS right now. Can't bring myself to like the spalding though, not when they're brand new at least..played with a couple broken in ones and they weren't so bad (tf-1000)

imo they are both indoor balls. the difference between the two really isn't that big. (I don't know how long they last if you play outdoor though)
Personally I really like the Molten basketballs. It takes a bit time to get used to them due to the "double-lines", but the overall feel is simply great and I've played mine for 2 years and the grip is still very very good.
For streetball I use a Spalding TACK-SOFT PRO. Pretty happy with what I got for the money. I need to pump it up a lot though...
