The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
This is a crucial phase for the Bobcats. We are currently in 7th place in the East. This is exactly where we don't want to be. If the playoffs started today we would play the Heat in a likely 4 game sweep. Best thing for us is to move down to 8th or up to 6th. In 8th we would play the Pacers, who we've already shown we can beat. Move up to the 6th and we pay the Raptors, which would be very interesting indeed.
I vote for winning the majority of our remaining games and taking our chances with the Raptors.

We won again!
Too bad Wizards also won.
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
I believe we've now won eight at home and are working toward reaching our record of nine? Could that be?
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
Horncats won again. :applause:
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
What's it going to take for the league to take the Cats seriously?
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
Advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs upsetting Miami.

Most teams couldn't do that and they're still taken seriously.
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
They won't win a series but I hope they at least get at least a couple of playoff wins before they become the Hornets.
I was actually warming up to their nickname too.
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
I'm so jazzed watching them play especially since Neal and Ridenour are aboard.
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
:facepalm Well we played like crap against the Hawks which was bad because the Hawks gain a game on us and they also win any tie-breaker. Also, we slipped back into our old ways in the 2nd half which just isn't going to cut it down the stretch.
I'm hoping it was a one game thing and we bounce back tonight against the Nets.
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
What if the Horncats suddenly start tanking? Since the team is probably losing the DET pick this year, what if they let the Knicks grab the 8th seed so the cats keep their own pick instead of going to Chicago. :wtf:
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
Cats have too much pride to tank. Would not be good for their reputation.
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
Strong win Sat. against a very good Portland team. Big Al took Robin Lopez to low post school and flunked him. Great crowd too which surprised me considering March Madness was going on. The arena had a playoff atmosphere.
At this point I don't care what seeding we get in the playoffs but I think it's important psychologically to get above .500. To go from the worst season ever to a winning season in less than 2 years would be quite an accomplishment.
Re: The Bobcats have won 7 straight at home
.500 baby.

Impressive game by the Horncats today, Cody Zeller w/ a clutch board, he is becoming better Mcbob down the stretch.
Kemba is still in a shooting slump and he should not take 20 shots per game. Better if the other shots were distributed to the shooters. Onwards to the 6th seed.
