So much for Copeland. Rush should work out with the team in Summer league if he's ready.
Re: The sure to be epic 2013 Jazz off-season!
50/50 on the move. Sentimentality would have had me keep Millsap, but it's a decent long term move. Hopefully Corbin can get Biendrins up and about, he could be a pretty good backup if he gets his mojo flowing. Future 1sts could be anything, but that plus expiring deals does leave a lot of options open for future trades.
Re: The sure to be epic 2013 Jazz off-season!
They're obviously tanking. That's what it comes down to. They'll have the money to sign G and Favors next year. Will Biedrins work with the Mailman? It's a contract year and a new team. Maybe he can return to form. As things stand now I'd look to start him and Kanter. Favors and Kanter getting the bulk of the minutes and Biedrins and Evans the rest. Either Jefferson or Rush starting alongside G and Obviously Burke as things stand now.
Re: The sure to be epic 2013 Jazz off-season!
I hope this is the starting line up. I don't care if they're "tanking" or not.
Burke-Burks-Hayward-Favors-Kanter
This is what the fans want to see.
RJ should never be a starter ever again.
Rush is alright but at best he's a 6th Man.

Millsap signed with Atlanta.
Re: The sure to be epic 2013 Jazz off-season!
Demarre too. Sad to see them go at that price.
Re: The sure to be epic 2013 Jazz off-season!
I don't think Biendrins needs to work with Malone, he just needs to not be terrified of touching the ball on offense.
Re: The sure to be epic 2013 Jazz off-season!
Couldn't hurt. Karl went from being a 48% FT shooter as a rookie into a good one. A lot hew could learn from the Mailman. He was a double double guy. Great rebounder and shot blocker. High FG %. Looks like he still hits the boards and rebounds but the FT% is scary! He's still only 27.
Re: The sure to be epic 2013 Jazz off-season!
One article says they around 8 million to spend still for 1 to 3 roster spots.

Yannis Koutroupis: Source says the Hawks were considering making an offer to free agent point guard Mo Williams before coming to terms with Paul Millsap.

Biendrins free throw issue is more Nick Anderson related than anything else I think.

Good news. It sounded like they might not have him at the beginning at least while he got FIBA approval.

Jazz swingman Gordon Hayward will not play with the team this week, but he will attend part of the summer league with the team in Florida
