If LeBron keeps on "sleepwalking" through games like he apparently did against the Knicks, then he will not win and open the door for someone else.

I could see Lebron having a "relative" down season this year. He's played alot of basketball, especially in the last few years playing in 2 Finals and then the Olympics, his team is more stacked then they were before especially with Ray Allen who seems rejuvenated playing a lesser role, and Wade appears to be healthier. I could see him somewhat coasting this regular season to save energy for the playoffs, unless there's injuries to Wade or Bosh. I don't see him winning MVP otherwise. I could see Lebron's numbers going down to something like 24/8/5 on 53%.
Lebron..dude is beasting on the low while coasting. He's going for 25 pts 10 rbs 8 ast type year:eek:
Lebron is focusing more on passing and rebounding this year it seems.
LeBron.
25-9-5 on 53% shooting should do the trick. Scoring volume slighly down from last year, due to the additions of Ray and Rashard. But otherwise, he'll still post a fantastic season that no one else will compare to all around.
Wade will also finish top 5. It's going to be like 96 Jordan/Pippen.
If Kobe will not get this year MVP by carrying his scrub team with a clueless coach then it's obvious rigged..
chris paul, kevin durant or lebron james.
Another name to throw tony parker.
I think clippers, san antonio, okc , heat will be having best records in the league.
LeBron probably doesn't get it this year. He's been utterly sublime, but he can now let the game come to him. He truly is the best he's ever been, but it might end up looking too easy for an MVP win. I would say it's more likely going to be Durant, CP3 or wait for it... Carmelo Anthony.
Kobe has been pretty terrific thus far. We'll see how he does as the season progresses and, more importantly, when the team starts winning. Worst comes to worst, they will still be winning.
Right now the MVP is Chris Paul but I think when it's all said and done the race will be between Cp3 and Durant with Durant winning it.

LeBron, very likely.
There may be another dark horse candidates depends on their teams' performance though.
Lebron as of right now is beasting. Durant is already slipping:lol
dont know if lebron will win it this year, seems like his team can carry him on most nights
